🌞Looking to start your Summer with nature and serenity? Join Katie on celebrating nature and nurture!

(1) First, we will meet and greet with your nature peers at the studio for a gentle yoga class and sound savasana.

(2) Then we will travel to Washington Valley Park Reservoir for nature bathing and hike to celebrate the new summer season. Spend time honing in on your five-senses to connect with yourself and slow things down within our forest adventure. There will be frequent stops to enjoy your surroundings.

(3) To bring: Journal and pen for optional meditative writing prompts given by Katie while we rest and meditate by the water or within the forest. Bring your own snacks, water, sun screen and bug repellent. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for a hike. Travel with peers or your own reliable transportation.

(4) End the day with gentle stretching, breath work and meditation. Leave feeling grounded and energized!

☀️Let’s celebrate the longest day of sunlight for the year!
Join Katie in celebrating the New Summer Season by embracing release through gentle playful somatic yoga (a type of yoga movement designed to release stored stressed emotions in the body) and breath-work to relax your nervous system. Rest into a relaxing sound meditation with Ocean Drum and Crystal Singing Bowls followed by pulling an Earth Spirit Oracle card to set the mood for embracing nature, renewal and abundance! Stay for some cucumber mint infused water, fruits, crackers and dip.

The weather is weathering. I know that you are probably hearing a lot “Spring Into Action!” . And there most certainly is something to that! Yes, you should be doing the thing that is going to benefit you. But also, pollen.
So. Much. Pollen.
So, I am going to be focusing on tapping into how we feel physically this week. I am going to be giving alternative asana this week so that if your body is just NOT feeling that posture, you have options! Because… pollen makes us feel gross. And this is not a competition. It’s self care.

This course focuses on one on one sessions, using singing bowls on the body to help participants heal, relax, transmute, and remove energy that’s blocking their growth.

Whether you specialize in pickling, canning, baking, slow cooker creations, or another delicious specialty, we’d love to include your recipe.

This 90-minute workshop blends gentle somatic yoga with mentor poems and accessible writing prompts designed to help you reflect, express, and explore your inner creative world.
No experience with writing or somatic yoga is required—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to engage in a new creative process.

~Poetry for non-poets
~Creative writing for curious minds
No pressure. No performance. Just space to reflect, express, and discover.
Facilitators will remain after the session for open discussion and optional sharing. Along with your yoga mat, bring your favorite writing implement and a notebook or paper.

“I work out, I eat accordingly, and I am sleeping 8hrs. But I am achy and tired…what am I doing wrong?”
Nothing. You are doing nothing wrong. I know that there is a lot of things out there to purchase and things to eat or drink. But maybe… and sometimes… it’s just winter. A season. Seasons can affect us. Winter in New Jersey means less sun and this season was a doozy.
Our shoulders roll forward to try and keep our torso warm from the weather, we curl a little bit more into ourselves on the couch and we are naturally tensing up from the cold. So, here is what I suggest:
