🚨 TRYOUT UPDATE 🚨

Due to the fields being closed, USA Scout Tryouts scheduled for today (June 25th) have been CANCELLED.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and invite all athletes affected to join us on Monday, June 29th at 6:00 PM at:

Today, we ask the entire baseball community to come together in prayer for one of our own, 9U athlete Rhett Aiken and his family.

Rhett was involved in a serious car accident and is currently hospitalized with severe injuries. We ask that you please keep Rhett, and his family in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

At USA Scout Mississippi, we firmly believe in the power of prayer and God’s ability to work miracles. Please join us in praying for strength, comfort, healing, and peace for the entire Aiken family. We pray that God places His healing hands on Rhett while surrounding his parents with comfort, strength, and unwavering faith.

Some things are bigger than baseball. This is one of those moments.

Due to weather concerns, all 7U-9U USA Scout Mississippi tryouts scheduled for June 15th have been moved to:

⚾ IMPORTANT: All 10U and older athletes will remain at Hartfield Academy as originally scheduled.

We are continuing to closely monitor weather conditions and are being proactive to provide the best possible experience for our athletes and families. Additional updates will be communicated if needed.

USA Scout Mississippi tryouts start TODAY at Hartfield Academy at 6:00 PM!
Please have your athlete arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow time for check-in, sign-in, and warm-ups before evaluations begin.
This is your opportunity to experience elite development, elite coaching, and an elite atmosphere designed to help athletes reach their full potential.

My name is Brett Bukvich, and I am honored to serve as the Head Coach of the USA Scout Mississippi 12U National Team. Coaching youth baseball is about much more than developing skilled players it’s about helping young athletes grow into confident, disciplined, and high-character young men.

Our mission is to develop young athletes who understand that success is earned through hard work, discipline, and dedication to the process. We strive to compete at a high level every week while building selfless, respectful, and accountable young men who positively impact their teammates, families, and communities.

As a coach, I believe that effort, attitude, and character are just as important as talent. Our team will be built on accountability, teamwork, resilience, and respect. We will compete with passion, embrace challenges, and learn from both success and adversity. Every practice, game, and tournament is an opportunity to improve not only as baseball players, but as people.

It is a privilege to represent Mississippi and USA Scout Baseball, and I am excited to work alongside our players and families to create an environment where growth, development, and excellence are the standard. Together, we will trust the process, compete with purpose, and strive to become the best version of ourselves on and off the field.

Tryouts are almost here! We’re excited to see the next generation of athletes compete and showcase their skills.

📍 Please arrive early to complete check-in and get settled before evaluations begin.

☑️ Athletes should come properly equipped (yes, baseball pants are required!)
☑️ Bring plenty of water and be ready to compete
☑️ Tryouts begin promptly at 6:00 PM
☑️ Allow enough time to stretch, warm up, and prepare
☑️ Parents, please remain in the stands before tryouts. We’ll hold a brief meeting to answer questions and share important program information.
