Our 9U Savages went 2–0 today while playing in honor of their coach, firefighter Lane Putt, and the first responders who give so much to keep our communities safe. ❤️🚒

Coach Lane, thank you for serving your community and pouring into these boys. We’re grateful they have your example to look up to, on and off the field.

As we remember September 11, we honor the lives lost and the families forever changed. May God bless and protect those who continue to answer the call.

A special morning for a few of our Savages! 🇺🇸

Some of our 8U boys and parents came out to support Coach Jimmy Lee and participate in Brandon’s 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

Coach Jimmy Lee serves our community as a Brandon firefighter, and we’re grateful these boys had the opportunity to stand alongside him, climb, and honor those we lost.

Thank you, Coach Jimmy Lee, for the example you set for our boys and for everything you do for our community. We’re proud to have you leading them, and thankful for the families who showed up to share this morning with you. 💚🩵

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the incredible courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to save others.

Behind every life lost was a family forever changed—a spouse who lost the love of their life, a child who grew up without a parent, and mamas and daddies who never made it home.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, military members, dispatchers, and everyday heroes whose bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Twenty-five years later, none of our players were alive to witness that day. We hope and pray they will be taught what happened, remember those we lost, and understand the courage, sacrifice, faith, and unity shown in one of America’s darkest hours.

As several of our Savages teams take the field in this weekend’s First Responder Tribute, we are reminded of the words of Jesus:

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
—John 15:13

May God comfort the families who still carry this loss, protect the first responders who continue to serve, and bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

It’s Tournament Weekend for the Savages! ⚾🔥

This Saturday, our 8U, 9U, and 10U Teal teams will all be taking the field in the 10th Annual First Responders Tribute Tournament. We’re proud to be part of a weekend that honors the men and women who serve our communities while getting the chance to watch our Savages compete across Flowood, Pearl, and Brandon.

With this tournament falling during the week of September 11th, it carries even more meaning. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, those who gave their lives helping others, and all of the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities today.

This weekend is about more than baseball. It’s about honor, gratitude, teamwork, and representing something bigger than ourselves. 🇺🇸❤️💙

Three teams. Three locations. One Savage family. 💚🩵🖤

Come out, bring the energy, and support these boys as they battle through pool play and into bracket play!

Last weekend at the 1st Annual Land Shark Baseball/Softball Bash, these two Savages showed out! 🦈🔥

⚾️ Offensive MVP — John Landry Boyd #14
Landry batted .667 with 8 hits, 9 RBIs, 10 runs scored and 3 home runs! 💣💣💣

🧤 Defensive MVP — Jack Puckett #24
Jack recorded 8 putouts, 6 assists and helped turn a double play, finishing the tournament with an .875 fielding percentage!

Way to compete and represent, boys! Congratulations to our 8U Tournament MVPs! 💚🩵

🔹 𝟴𝗨 — Landsharks Tournament in Columbia
🔹 𝟵𝗨 — Boys of Fall at Liberty Park in Flowood
🔹 𝟭𝟰𝗨 — Boys of Fall at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland

The 8U Savages will compete in a one-day tournament Saturday, while 7U, 9U and 14U begin pool play Saturday before moving into bracket play Sunday.
