For years, I spent so much energy trying to fit in that I forgot what it felt like to truly be myself.

Pride means something different to everyone, but for me, it’s about acceptance—not from others, but from myself.

It took me a long time to feel comfortable in my own skin. There were years of questioning, hiding parts of myself, and worrying about what other people might think. Even today, there are still moments and certain crowds where being fully myself can feel intimidating.

But the greatest feeling in the world is living authentically. It’s waking up each day without apologizing for who you are. It’s embracing every part of yourself, even the parts you were once taught to hide.

Pride isn’t just a celebration. It’s a reminder that we all deserve to exist exactly as we are.

This month, and every month, I’m proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ community. 🏳️‍🌈❤️
