A little late on our but we want to take this week to recognize Miss Haley Chipps from Lewis County High School! Haley is a PIN hitter who really shows out specifically on the right side! This is Haley's 3rd season with Storm and we are thankful each year that she chooses us!

Representing the Class of 2028 on the 28th - Miss Colbie Wimer, hitter from Pendleton County High School, and this season's 17 Lightning (National) Team. Colbie's first year with MSSVC was last season and she said one of her favorite memories was when her whole team went to get their faces painted during an tournament!

This week's goes to Miss Caroline Jones, an 8th grader from Fairmont, who is a TREASURE at Mountain State Storm. Caroline's positivity is extremely contagious and we are thankful for that each year with her. Tell us your favorite Caroline memory!

Don't forget to register for the FALL VOLLEYBALL REC LEAGUE! It is a co-ed league for all athletes who are interested in playing volleyball but are NOT a part of their school program! We look forward to seeing you! Registration closes September 1. (We will have an option for 2nd & 3rd graders that will be announced at a later date!)

Get ready for an exciting fall volleyball season beginning in September!

Our Youth Recreation Volleyball League is designed to provide a safe, fun, and positive environment that combines skill development, recreation, and friendly competition through weekly practices and games.

Divisions:
🏐 4th & 5th Grade
🏐 6th–8th Grade
🏐 High School

Players will participate in the first two weeks of practices and evaluations before being placed on teams and assigned a coach.

Each team will have:
✅ One practice per week
✅ One game per week
✅ An 8-week season of practices and games

It's school volleyball season so you know what that means? We are bringing back our ! This week's #14 on the 14th is Miss Avery Osbourn, sophomore PIN hitter/DS at Bridgeport High School. Avery has a calmness about her while she is on the court that is easily respected. She does whatever is asked of her and with a quiet smile. We are excited to watch Avery's growth this year!
