Now that all our team members have graduated we want to make the Nut Jobs retirement from FTC official. (We will still have our social media pages so we might pop up now and then!)
Thank you to all of the FIRST at MVCC teams that we have had the pleasure of competing with the last 8 years and the Hudson Valley Region teams before that. Thank you Tina Betz for all that you do, and to our good friends (dare we say sister team) Robovines FTC 6955. We will miss everyone, but we hope to be back to volunteer at tournaments if we are in town! Please take a look at the presentation that we shared at a BOE meeting showing what we have done throughout the years.
Mrs. Becker isn't leaving FIRST entirely as BP has appointed her FIRST Robotics Coordinator where she will be bringing back the BP FLL program for grades 2nd to 8th and starting FLL Discover with the 1st graders! We don't know what is in store for the HS yet, but we hope she is able to bring an FTC team back at some point.
We are all off to new adventures, some near and some far!

From the Becker Family: We are proud to announce that the recipient of this year's Jack Steenburgh Memorial Engineering Scholarship was a Nut Job!!
Congratulations Robert, we wish you the best of luck at SUNY POLY!!
This scholarship is given each year in honor of Mrs. Becker's father a long time Perth and Broadalbin-Perth BOE member and mechanical engineer.

After more than 16 years at B-P, junior high principal Wayne Bell will retire at the end of this school year. Mr. Bell says he has been privileged to "have the opportunity to… work with children and try to make a difference in their lives," and we're so grateful for the difference he's made in our school community! ❤️💙

Saratoga County 4-H robotics team expands to world championships The Robovines have won the regional championship and advance to the world championships that are being held this April in Houston from April 20 to April 23.
