My Canik SFT was long overdue for some love. Been putting in work at the range and kept pushing off the cleaning. Finally did a clean and l**e and it’s running like new again. How often do you guys actually clean your handguns?

Looking for a few great low round-count drills to run at the range? 🎯

These are three of my favorites for building speed, accuracy, and consistency without burning through a lot of ammo.

Target 1 (5 rounds):
Draw and fire 1 shot in Box 1, 2 shots in Box 2, and 1 shot each in A & B.

Target 2 (7 rounds):
Draw and fire 1 shot in Box 1, 2 shots in Box 2, and 1 shot each in A, B, C & D.

Target 3 (4 rounds):
Draw and fire 4 shots into the 8” circle as fast and accurately as possible.

The goal isn’t to beat someone else—it’s to beat your last run. Focus on smooth, accountable hits first, then increase your speed. Those 8.5” × 11” targets also force you to aim at a smaller target, helping sharpen your accuracy.
