LIME Basketball

Had one last dinner with the BA Lime 2031 class. Over the last 3 years, we’ve watched these boys grow not only as basketball players, but as young men. We got the chance to tell them how proud we are of the work they’ve put in and encourage them as they head into school ball.

We talked about what it means to stay locked in from camps, to practices, to the little things nobody sees and the expectations we have for them to continue carrying the Lime standard everywhere they go.

We also gave each player a LIME bag tag to carry with them next season. A small reminder to represent their school, represent their family, and represent LIME every time they step on the court.

This group has a bright future, and we can’t wait to be in the stands watching them hoop next season. 💚🏀

To the Mothers of Our Players,

As coaches’ wives, we get a front row seat to so much more than just basketball. We see the long nights, the early mornings, the endless driving, the sacrifices, the cheering, the worrying, and the love that each of you pours into your children every single day.

Behind every player is a mother who has invested more than most people will ever realize.

You are the ones making sure uniforms are clean, rides are arranged, meals are made, grades are checked, and hearts are encouraged after hard losses and celebrated after big wins. You carry the emotional weight of wanting your child to succeed, not just in sports, but in life.

What many people may never fully understand is that this game becomes bigger than basketball. It teaches discipline, resilience, accountability, teamwork, and confidence. But none of those lessons stick without strong people at home reinforcing them, and that starts with you.

Thank you for trusting us and our husbands with your sons.
Thank you for supporting from the stands.
Thank you for showing up even when life is busy and exhausting.
Thank you for raising young men who are learning how to lead, work hard, and persevere.

Please know that your impact does not go unnoticed.

On this Mother’s Day, we hope you feel appreciated, valued, and celebrated for all the seen and unseen things you do. Your love is shaping these boys into the men they will become someday.

This is what LIME is all about. A real teammate never goes away. He shows up, cheers loud, and keeps pouring into his guys no matter what court, field, or track they’re on.
