Got hitched back up to the Vexus after dropping it off to Darrin Thomas to get a Lowrance 52” GHOST and Power-Brakes installed for the northern smallmouth swing!!! 😳 😃 Can’t explain how excited I am to go north and always love the HIGH QUALITY work that comes from Darrin and his crew at Integrated Boat Works. I’ve got big plans for these Power Brakes!

Lake Seminole was the last lake where I got a Win! I really wanted to try to repeat that success this time around, but also wanted to avoid getting another 2nd place finish in the Angler of the Year race for the Toyota Southern Division.

I think my sister would love this picture!! 🤗 Several of them got their first ride in a bass boat. We were missing a few of the kiddos but they had good excuses! We all miss you Kimbo and hope you’re finding me some good heavenly fishing spots!

Thanks to Jimmy Reese for loaning me a boat seat so that I could take it easy on my recent calf injury.
And a huge thanks again to Chris Barnes for abandoning his wife and kids on the weekend to meet me in Tulsa and give me A+++++ service to ensure I wasn’t in danger of further hurting myself. Turns out I strained my calf and potentially tore some random plantaris tendon which is famously absent in 10% of people!!
Managed to move up again today to 30th place, cash a nice check, gain valuable points to the Championship, and had lots of family to support me at weigh in. I enjoyed being in my home state of Oklahoma this event and hope we come back soon!

Well I had a blast catching bass today and moved up into the cut with 15lbs 2oz!
Unfortunately on my way walking back to my truck I slipped and something popped behind my left ankle and shot up into the middle of my calve!! NOT GOOD!
We are headed to Tulsa to see my buddy Chris Barnes to see if he can help diagnose me before we go to an ER.

I did not have the day of fishing that I hoped for and only brought 10lbs 9oz in which is good enough for 81st place going into Day 2. Gonna need a much better day tomorrow to move back into the cut.
On the bright side, I got to bring two of my nephews on stage for their live TV debut!! 😂 Thanks Beckett and Bryant for making my day!! Also enjoyed some awesome family time with the rest of the bunch afterwards! 😝

Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma is hosting stop 5 for the Major League Fishing Pro Circuit. Practice has been pretty sketchy and keepers haven’t been easy to come by. The lake is cleaner than I’ve ever seen it, the shad population is insane, and the bass are a minority but super healthy!! Weights are gonna be all over the place tomorrow but expect to see some 20 plus pound bags and some closer to 0 pounds! 😂
