We Did It!! 🏆🔥

What a weekend at the Funny Car Chaos Summer Nationals in Cordova, IL — and what a wild ride! In just our third-ever race in a Funny Car, Grumpy 2 pulled off the WIN!

It didn’t start pretty… We crossed the center line in Q1, smacked a timing cone, and busted the front end up. But with a ton of determination (and Gorilla Tape 😅), we got to work, fixed it, and came back swinging. Round after round, we kept fighting—and it all paid off!

Massive thanks to our incredible tuner Jeff Pierce for dialing us in and making sure Grumpy 2 was running strong when it mattered most. Huge shoutout to our amazing sponsors B&C Trailer Services, Kryptonite Kustomz and Stroud Safety, and especially to our crew—none of this would be possible without your grit, hustle, and heart.

We’re also incredibly grateful for all the support from the other Funny Car teams cheering us on in the final. That’s what makes this racing family so special.

We are incredibly excited to share that Brandon and I are now the proud owners of Sawyer Chassis!

Many of you started following along when Brandon was drag racing, but then we transitioned to something completely foreign…DIRT!

He loves motorsports in general, and much like drag racing, he’s been dedicated to learning as much as he possibly can about dirt racing. We are so very grateful to see his passion for the sport come full circle with this opportunity to be doing something he loves so very much…getting to share his love for racing with others and be a part of the community that supports growth and involvement for generations to come is truly a blessing! 💨💜🏁

Hey friends, it’s been awhile since we’ve updated our fellow race fans on all that’s going on in our small corner of the world, but life happens!

The last couple of years have endured lots of changes for our family and furthermore our racing! As many of you know, it all started with “Pops”…he was a car guy thru and thru; whether it was fixing your daily from a collision, restoring a classic car, building a hotrod, or piloting a racecar. He loved it all and shared that passion with his boys, which they now share with their boys. It is still with great sadness that we lost the pillar of our family back in 2023; we all reminisce often of the memories made at the racetrack with him and regularly wish he was here to share all the new adventures with, too!

We are looking forward to sharing all of our new adventures with you all from a couple of familiar faces (Brandon and Brian) and also introducing a few new ones as Brandon’s boys have now joined him on the track, too. Stay tuned for all of the dirt racing and drag racing fun ahead!
