V & H Fresh Race Team

Finally looks like we're going to get in a few days of racing. Friday at Creek, Saturday at 81 Speedway. We considered some Midget Racing with the Powri National Midgets. But we've been out of the car too long and thought we'd keep it close to home! See everyone tomorrow night

The team is prepping for this weekend at Ark-La-Tex Speedway, In Vivian, LA running with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints both Friday and Saturday night. Always a good time against this series. Looking forward to a great weekend. Thanks All

Talk about an up/down weekend. We got to Benton Speedway early, got unloaded, prepped for the race night. Lined up for hot laps and after the first lap the car broke the oil filter housing. Since it was a special fitting we didn't have a replacement nor did anyone else at the track. So, engine swap was our only option. during the process we missed qualifying and the heat race. So, we lined up dead last (15th) taking the top 7. Green flag drops and all hell break loose. Bradley Fezard passes four on the first lap. and then over the next 11 laps Bradley drives hard and finished 4th in the "B" Passing 11 cars. Car was great, driver drove like he was possessed.
Got ready for the main event with Bradley starting 20th. After a lot of great racing and the smoked cleared we finished 11th passing 9 cars. impressive. NIGHT 2: Riverside International Speedway West Memphis, AR. Started on the pole in the Heat finished 3rd. made some adjustments to the car and tried some stuff with the Bar's we never tried before. IT WORKED! started 10th and when all was said and done Bradley finished 6th. It was impressive night. next weekend we will be running 2 nights with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints. Looking forward to it. I wanted to thank the team for its never quit attitude and never giving up.

Leaving today for Benton, MO to run with the American Sprint National Series and then Saturday night we will move to Riverside International Speedway West Memphis, AR for Saturday night. Always great competition at both locations ! See you there

I can't explain it. I have Bradley Fezard basically working 7 days a week working on the midget and Sprint car programs. Every time I turn around, he's completing another side project and there in creditable. 2 weeks ago, he refinished, designed and painted his own helmet and now he's constructing small scale team cars! Unbelievable. Nothing but talent.

Finally, a good week for the team. Tomorrow our rebuilt Midget motor returns home and God willing we'll be racing the sprint car this weekend in Chatham, LA. Getting our midget back in the game opens more doors and racing opportunities. The sprint car is more than ready for some competition. See everyone soon!
