I dont even include flat benching in my pec routine, because it stresses the front deltoids far too much to be an effective exercises for building the chest.h
I dont even include flat benching in my pec routitne, because it stresses the front deltoids far too much to be an effective exercise for building the chest. iAlso, the angle of the flat bench press puts the pec tendons in a vulnerable positon.

Many torn pes in bodybuilding have been the result of heavy flat bench press.
So what do i do instead?

Hammer Chest press!

Much safer and effective movement for chest.
