We released the limitations that held us back and then learned to create an alter ego to help us become the version of us that we've always needed.
Sometimes the only thing holding you back from becoming who you need to be is your old identity that no longer serves you.
đ¸ Through reflection, conversation, and powerful guidance, youâll gain new awareness, new tools, and a new perspective.
Come as you are, and step into whatâs possible.

Cant wait to see you at Thriving Dot 's event tomorrow!
I'm super excited to announce our co-host for our upcoming Thriving Circle: Unwritten - Let's Rewrite Our Stories event. Maycee has such a positive energy and will be guiding all of us to the next level of transformation we were meant to be.
Maycee Vee is a Hmong American multipotentialite who blends strength, creativity, and purpose into every area of her life. Known for her early morning powerlifting sessions at 3 a.m., she is a personal trainer, a mental health advocate, writer, speaker, and digital strategist who embodies discipline, resilience, and self-expression. Her journey is rooted in the power of visualization and grit, all while mastering a dynamic, evolving identity that adapts without losing one's sense of selfâtools she uses to balance her passions while inspiring others to step into their fullest potential.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling & Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Maycee began her career in Student Affairs, where she empowered students to think beyond traditional paths and embrace limitless possibilities. In 2020, she was recognized as an Honorary Author for her work editing and compiling âA New Journey: Hmong College Student Experiencesâ, amplifying the voices of Hmong college students in higher education. Maycee's passion extends to mentoring and aiding young women in discovering their own self-confidence, where she later earned the Women of Courage and Vision Award from Minnesota State University's President's Commission on the Status of Women multiple times.
Mayceeâs work in Student Affairs later expanded to the UMN College of Pharmacy, where she encouraged future healthcare professionals to lead with empathy and compassion. This experience later influenced her to create Alter Ego Athletics, a business focusing on womenâs health. Where she empowers women through a holistic approach to health and fitnessâfocusing on mind, body, and soul. Inspired by her own strength journey, she integrates physical training with identity work, helping women build confidence, resilience, and navigating self-awareness.
Beyond fitness, building a business, and inspiring others, Maycee is deeply committed to mentorship and education. As a longtime Page Scholar from the Page Education Foundation, she advocates for students of color acknowledging barriers that may prevent them from achieving their dreams and actively gives back through community involvement and women empowerment.
đ¸ The woman youâre becoming already existsâyou just have to create her and then choose her.
When you shift your identity, everything begins to change.
And that shift?
It starts with a single decision.
I am collaborating with Catherine Yang from Thriving Dot to provide you resources on how to unlock this version of you!

5 years ago I shared with the world that one day I'll be doing something extraordinary.
Here I am 5 years later, being part of the team that brought together 32,000 people at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.
What an honor to share the Hmong culture to the whole state of Minnesota on Fox 9, WCCO & CBS News Minnesota, and KARE 11.
I've been so busy working towards this moment that health and fitness has not been my priority.
2025 is around the corner, have you started working on your new years resolution?
What are you working on this upcoming year to take care of you both mentally and physically?

Ever paused mid-exercise, sweating and out of breath, and thought, "Why am I actually doing this?" Itâs a question worth exploring beyond the surface. This isnât just about the workout. Itâs about *why* you chose this path.
Every squat, every meal, every early morningâitâs more than routine. It's a deliberate choice. Why did you choose that salad? Why push for one more rep? Reflect on these choices. They reveal more than your fitness goals; they show your values, your drive, your why.
Think of your fitness journey as more than physical. It's a mental journey too. Each session, each choice, is a moment of introspection. What are you truly seeking? Is it strength? Clarity? Peace? Is it weight loss? Is it to be a better athlete?
Each rep, each meal, is a question: What am I learning about myself? This isn't just fitnessâit's understanding. Itâs growth. Itâs real.
As you move forward, let these questions guide you.
Reflect, rethink, and understand the motivations behind each action. This journey is yours, deeply personal and introspective. It's time to face yourself.
What will you discover today?
Have you ever resisted change, only to find out it was exactly what you needed?
Being open-minded about new routines isn't just refreshingâit's necessary.
Starting something new? Think of it as a thrilling adventure. đ
Yes, the unfamiliar can be scary, but itâs also where growth happens.
Each step into the unknown is a step towards discovering your potential.
Letâs talk about letting go.
Clinging to old habits can feel safe, but itâs often just the comfort of the known.
Challenge yourself.
Ask, âWhat would happen if I let go? What would happen if I try something new?â
The answer might surprise you.
Incorporate small changes.
Swap out just one old habit for a new, healthier one each week.
Itâs like updating your favorite playlistâkeeps things lively and energetic! đś
Remember, every expert was once a beginner.
No one starts as a pro, and every pro has to start somewhere.
So, why not start today? Your future self will thank you.
Embrace the new, and watch your life transform.
Ready to reset your routine?
Letâs make it happen together! â¨
