Join us tomorrow for Brooklyn Players Community Musical Theater's next Choreography Workshop! ๐ŸŒŸโœจ๏ธ

We rehearse a full musical theatre number for three weeks, then on the fourth week we dress up, clean it up, add on character, and film our hard work! ๐Ÿ’ƒ

This month our fearless leader intends to dress us up as 1980s "pimps n hoes" in the theme of the show! Break out your feather boas + pumps! ๐Ÿชถ๐Ÿ‘

If you have yet to hear this catchy tune, give it a listen here: https://youtu.be/IKIu4gzVbUs ๐ŸŽถ

We will be dancing at the newly renovated Gowanus Arts Annex at 298 Butler Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217. 7-8:30pm. Each session is just $20. $80 total for the month. SUCH a steal!

Email us at [email protected] if interested! We are able to accommodate payment plans and discounts for financial need on a case by case basis. Please don't hesitate to ask. ๐Ÿ’œ

Lastly, let us know if you can't participate but would like to help Brooklyn Players fundraise to recover from the pandemic in other ways! We hope to get back on our feet for a full mainstage production in 2023!! โคโค

EVER FELT SELF CONSCIOUS IN A DANCE CALL?

Cooped up in a tiny apartment this last year
with no space to truly participate in zoom classes?

Feel like dance classes speed by too fast?

Pining for a safe space to dance with other people
in person again where you know everyone
is vaccinated and no one is judging you?

Always hankered for a diverse dance community where
every body type is welcome, LGBTQ+ can feel no shame, BIPOC and AAPI and every identity inbetween feels at home,
and you not only get to know your class neighbors,
but you might just get to make new friends?

Have we got the class for you!
Why, we've got magic to do!
โœทcome join us this summer for our newโœท
Choreography Comprehension
Workshop Series

We are excited to announce our first in person, fully vaccinated month-long dance workshops, taught by previous Brooklyn Players production choreographers.

Our Summer Workshops Offer:
Body Positive Environment
Fully Vaccinated In Person Group Collaboration
Well Ventilated, Distanced Studio Spaces
with Supportive Small Class Sizes
Each month will be taught by a different choreographer focusing on ONE FULL song of Musical Theatre Jazz Choreography per month.

Think of this workshop as a hybrid between a traditional dance class and a musical theater production rehearsal.

Dust off your dance shoes and join us!
