Maury is a dedicated yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience providing personalized high-quality classes for all ages and levels. She combines spontaneity, humor, and safe instruction to promote healing through yoga therapy, supporting individuals on their wellness journeys.

Maury enjoys teaching tree pose (Virkshasana) because it’s a combination of stability, grounding, and balance utilizing all facets of the students awareness and ability 🍃

We are thrilled to welcome back for the 2026 season!

Olivia believes yoga should be accessible to absolutely everyone. Teaching to all levels, her athletic yoga classes are both welcoming to first time yogis and challenging for season practitioners. Olivia incorporates mindfulness and creativity into each class. Through meditative visualization, even the busiest New Yorkers can find a moment of zen during class 🦋

Erin likes to build heat with fun creative flows that focus on alignment and moving with the breath. She has been practicing for more than a decade and loves to help students learn more about their bodies and find their own flow.

Erin‘s favorite way to spend time in Prospect Park (besides yoga of course) is people watching and picnics in Long Meadow 🌿

Kayla teaches dynamic slow flow classes that are designed to adapt to individual needs and abilities. As a teacher, her goal is to help students connect with their breath and find the balance between effort and ease. You can leave her class feeling grounded and energized 🌿

Kayla loves teaching triangle pose. As a practitioner, she enjoys practicing malasana yogi squat. Both have wonderful benefits, especially after long periods of sitting or standing!

Julia teaches vinyasa style classes geared toward helping students feel good in their body and mind. She guides students through breath work and creative sequencing aimed at strengthening and lengthening to impart calm confidence and clarity to each practitioner

Fun fact about Julia: she loves growing her own basil! 🌱

Betty’s teaching style is fun and dynamic. Students can expect joyful themes and flows that connect breath, mobility and strength building. On the mat, her favorite asana to teach is triangle pose. As a practitioner, her favorite asana to practice is half split with a twist 🧘🏽‍♀️

Off the mat, Betty’s favorite Prospect Park pastimes include reading in the sunshine and hanging out anywhere by the lake ☀️

Join Betty on Wednesday evenings for her open level yoga class at 6:30pm by Grand Army Plaza entrance ✨
