Moves After Dark dancers turn the Grand Park fountain (and more) into a splashy stage The menacing foursome lurked beneath the Grand Park water fountain, emerging from the shadows to appear even more threatening, arms waving against a backlighted cascade of water, backs curved into predatory crouches, feet scuttling across the splash pad.

The event will reflect on the achievements of 2Faced Dance’s BENCH programme over the last 9 months and will include debate and conversation surrounding the issue of gender disparity for female choreographers working in the UK’s contemporary dance sector.

Aimed at programmers, venues, producers, commissioners and artists from ALL areas of the sector, the event will feature; inspirational speakers, presentations from the current five BENCH Fellows and a debating panel of industry experts. There will also be a call out for all attending to act as Agents for Change, ensuring that solutions to issues are not only discussed but are also implemented.

HOME THE BENCH a unique and bespoke choreographic programme for women working within the UK dance sector.
