Women are often taught to work harder instead of advocating harder.
So we stay quiet.
We overperform.
We accept the offer.
We wait to be noticed.
Meanwhile, less qualified people are negotiating, asking, and positioning themselves for more.
Your experience has value.
Your leadership has value.
Your voice has value.
It’s time more women stopped shrinking in rooms they’ve already earned a seat in. 💛
If this resonates, comment “VALUE.”
Lindsey Schiel, Coach
I help high-performing women stop surviving their success and start building a life and career that actually fits who they’ve become.
I don’t think women are lacking ambition.
I think they’re lacking spaces where they feel safe enough to stop pretending they’re fine.
That’s the kind of space I want to create.
DM “RESET” if you want details when it opens.
The “mid-career crisis” a lot of women are experiencing isn’t really about career.
It’s identity.
And once you realize that…
you can’t unsee it.
Today is my kids’ last day of school.
And every year, I notice the same thing:
summer creates a completely different type of mental load for working mothers.
During the school year, life is chaotic — but structured.
Summer removes much of that structure while professional expectations remain exactly the same.
Women are still leading teams, running businesses, managing deadlines, and showing up professionally… while simultaneously coordinating childcare, schedules, activities, meals, transportation, and the emotional pressure of wanting to create meaningful memories for their kids.
It’s a form of invisible labor that often goes unnamed.
This is one of the reasons I believe women need more honest conversations around leadership, burnout, caregiving, ambition, and identity.
So many high-performing women are carrying far more than people realize.
If you’re entering summer already feeling stretched between two worlds… I see you. 💛
One of the most confusing seasons in life is when the version of success you once worked so hard for… no longer fully fits.
Not because you’re ungrateful.
Not because you’ve lost ambition.
But because you’ve changed.
I think a lot of high-performing women quietly reach this point.
The titles.
The pressure.
The constant proving.
The pace that once felt exciting.
And suddenly the question becomes:
“Is this actually the life I want… or just the life I learned to chase?”
What mattered at 30 doesn’t always matter at 40.
Sometimes growth looks like:
✨ wanting peace more than performance
✨ wanting alignment more than applause
✨ wanting presence more than pressure
✨ wanting a life that feels good, not just looks successful
That’s not failure.
That’s awareness.
And honestly? It may be the beginning of finally becoming yourself again.
If this resonates, send me the word “SEASON.” 💛
Can we talk about the part of leadership nobody really talks about?
The loneliness.
The pressure of always being the strong one.
The one with answers.
The one everyone leans on.
The one who keeps holding everything together even when she’s exhausted herself.
I think a lot of high-performing women are silently carrying things no one sees.
Not because they’re weak.
But because somewhere along the way, they learned that being capable meant they had to keep pushing through.
But behind closed doors?
So many women leaders are quietly asking themselves:
Who am I now?
What do I actually want?
Why does success feel different lately?
Why am I so tired?
And honestly… I think we need more spaces where women can finally say the hard things out loud without feeling judged for it.
Because leadership isn’t just confidence and ambition.
Sometimes it’s burnout.
Identity shifts.
Loneliness.
Grief.
Pressure.
Growth.
Becoming.
If this resonates with you, you are not alone. 🤍
Message me “SPACE” if you’ve been feeling this too.
No one talks about this part of leadership.
The more competent you become, the more invisible your exhaustion becomes.
Especially for women.
And eventually you wake up realizing you’re carrying an entire organization emotionally while trying to hold your own life together too.
That’s not sustainable leadership.
DM me RESET if you’re feeling this lately.

There comes a point where working harder stops being the answer.
You’ve built the career.
You’ve proven yourself.
You’re capable, respected, dependable.
But something feels off.
You know you’re meant for more impact, more alignment, more fulfillment — but you’re also carrying years of pressure, expectations, and versions of yourself that no longer fit.
And trying to figure it all out alone is exhausting.
So I’m opening a small group coaching experience for women leaders who are ready for their next chapter.
This is for the woman who:
• feels underutilized or stuck
• wants stronger executive presence and confidence
• is craving clarity about what’s next
• is tired of shrinking herself in rooms she’s already earned a seat in
• wants honest conversations, strategy, support, and growth alongside other ambitious women
We’ll focus on leadership, mindset, visibility, communication, alignment, and taking bold action toward the life and career you actually want.
