Late post… Thanks to for putting something incredible into our space. Travis puts a huge amount of work into his craft and the results speak for themselves.

Awesome turnout tonight for our Monday night Gi class!

First Karate forward Sunday (1:30-2:15pm) Striking class with Sensei Becca was a hit! Come to Daruma for the challenging and technical Martial Arts classes and stay for the incredible community and beautiful, welcoming atmosphere.

We have received a lot of great reviews at Daruma. This one really takes the cake though. Thank you Samrath 😁👍🏻🙏🏻

Hi Folks lots of exciting developments happening at Daruma very soon. Firstly thank you to all of our wonderful students for your amazing support. Because of this support we have been able to save up enough to fully renovate and upgrade our back garden. 🪴 Work is planned to start next month. It is going to be a beautiful oasis where we can host all kinds of fun and interesting events. We are also looking at ways to make it more casually accessible to our students. I love the idea of people sitting out there in the sunshine reading a book or enjoying some tea. Thanks everyone 😊🙏🏻👍🏻

Hi folks, excited to show you our new schedule. It will be starting April 1st. We are adding.

Monday 1:15-2:00pm
Adult striking (Beginners)
Sensei Monika will be teaching this class.

Wednesday 3:20-4:00pm
Daruma Kids 9-12
Sensei Monika will be teaching this class.

Saturday
2:05-2:50pm
Adult Jiu Jitsu (rolling only)
Sensei Ewan will be leading this class.
This class will not have instruction and will just be packed with Jiu Jitsu roll rounds(five minute rounds with a one minute break) Super fun! 🤩

Sunday
1:30-2:15pm
Adult striking (fundamentals)
This class will be taught by Sensei Becca who is a karate black belt with many years of experience. It will be Karate forward in its approach to striking. Come for techniques that you won’t see taught in our other classes.

Sunday
2:30-3:30pm
Adult striking open mat.
We are trying something new here by opening the dojo to our strikers for non structured training. People can come in shadow box, stretch, do calisthenics etc they can also use any of our focus mitts, kicking shields and Thai pads and hold them for each other. It’s a great opportunity to work on whatever you feel like working on.

3:30-4:30
Jiu Jitsu open mat
Our usual open mat format just condensed into an hour. I think this will provide a better experience for all participants if people arrive and start training roughly at the same time and the mat is more full of partners.

The learning times without instruction (Saturday roll club, Sunday Striking open mat and Sunday Jiu Jitsu open mat.) will be free to monthly and annual members and will cost $25 per session if you have a ten pack or if you are not a member.

We will continue looking to add more amazing classes and opportunities for our students to train, improve and connect.😊👍🏻

Daruma will be open Monday 23rd with our full schedule despite the snow. Trudge on over and get some training in.
