Cora Dance creates transformational dance experiences while addressing barriers that restrict access.
Artistic Director/Choreographer Shannon Hummel’s celebrated professional company anchors this organization which also provides exceptional sliding scale dance education in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY and the Alleghany Highlands of VA, intersecting and uniting rural and urban communities through transformational dance.

Our Creative Movement dancers in after school at PS15 have been working with Skylar Tuttle and Nikki Assanti since January, expanding their movement vocabulary, learning choreography, and practicing improvisation! We are so grateful to have TWO programs currently happening at PS15!
