Beginner level:
Appropriate for first-time zouk dancers and anyone wanting to get more familiar with the most common basic moves, as well as concepts like counting the music
Intermediate level:
Our trademark Zoukphoria frame/elasticity/footwork-focused level! Learn the secrets behind being a clear & comfortable lead or follow. In particular, we focus on developing a deep understanding of the follow's mechanics. For leads, we use that understanding to inform how 'proper' technique should look.
Advanced level (entry by assessment only):
For those who successfully test out of our intermediate level, we teach the ins and outs of head movement in zouk, keeping our focus on follow's technique and correct mechanics.

Assessments Info

For our advanced level, we require students to pass an assessment covering the concepts that we teach at the intermediate level. Each month, the intermediate & advanced levels use the first class of the month to review these concepts and conduct assessments. If you're looking to join our advanced level be sure to come to this class!

Starting this week! We're teaming up with the Senior Zouk Social to turn Thurdays into the biggest day of zouk. Hope to see you in class!

We're going to have THREE levels of classes, all in parallel right before the social: Beginner-level, plus our trademark Zoukphoria frame/elasticity/footwork intermediate & head-movement focused advanced levels.

Unfortunately this also means that we're going to be pausing our class + practica on Fridays. If you have an active membership or class passes with us, they'll be usable for our Thursday classes instead. We'll be in touch via email later this week with everyone who has them, if you'd prefer to have them refunded.
