1095 high carbon steel, clip point hunter , brass pins and stabilized maple for the scales. Full convex grind that is hair popping sharp.

Coaster was brought back by my brother on a recent vacation to Europe.

Vintage True Temper Kelly Perfect 4lbs axe I brought back from the dead. Jersey pattern beveled axe on a 24" hickory handle. Stonewashed head and burnt handle both finished with tung oil. Perfect truck/woods axe.1000grit and 1 micron stropped convex edge.

Vintage 1960's mann/plumb beveled 3 lbs axe I brought back from the dead. The perfect truck axe on a 20" miners handle. Stonewashed finish on burnt hickory. All finished with tung oil. 1000 grit convexed edge.

Today's work. A custom S guard Bowie from an old Nicholson rasp. Stabilized "tiger stripe" maple for the scales and brass hardware. This one is headed north for a leather sheath.
