BINGO WAS A HIT! 🎉

Today, more than 50 community members gathered at West Haywood Community Center for a morning filled with fun, fellowship, good food, and plenty of exciting prizes!

A very special THANK YOU to Cornerstone of Praise Baptist Church and Shalondria Shaw for sponsoring today’s BINGO and helping make the event such a wonderful success. Your support means so much to our community!

What a wonderful turnout at Brownsville-Haywood County Parks & Recreation today! More than 60 community members came out to enjoy an afternoon of BINGO, fellowship, laughter, and fun! 🥳🎉

It’s always great to see our community come together, make new connections, and enjoy time with friends and neighbors. ❤️

📚✨ Celebrating Literacy in Our Community!✨📚

What an incredible day for literacy and community collaboration! We were proud to join Save the Children and other community organizations at the Park of Dreams for the ribbon cutting of the new Born Reading Trail, a wonderful addition that will inspire children and families to read, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors together.

Our department was honored to support this special occasion by providing burgers, hot dogs, and all the trimmings for attendees to enjoy. 🌭🍔

A special thank you to Karetha Taylor of Save the Children for inviting us to be a part of this well-attended and meaningful community event. Your commitment to strengthening literacy and creating opportunities for our children is truly appreciated!

📖🌳 It was a wonderful day in the world of literacy! We look forward to seeing families enjoy the Born Reading Trail for years to come!

Aquatics programs deliver a public-safety service that families trust with their time, their money and their children. When swimmers drop mid-session or lose skills after long breaks, the consequences show up fast; parent frustration, overcrowded repeat roster, staff fatigue and, most importantly, more community members who skill can't manage themselves around water with confidence.
