The season may be over, but champions are built year-round.

Garden City Community College officially introduced Donnie Stephens as the next Head Women’s Wrestling Coach during a press conference on Thursday.

Big things are happening in the Porter Cowboys and Cowgirls Wrestling room. 💪🤼‍♂️

We’ve been putting in work to upgrade our mat room and create an environment our athletes can be proud of a place built for toughness, discipline, and championship-level effort. Every update is about giving our wrestlers the best opportunity to grow, compete, and succeed.

Reyna, we couldn’t be more proud of you.
You’ve put in the work, stayed consistent, and carried yourself with toughness and class every step of the way. You’ve been a great example of what it means to be part of Porter Cowgirls Wrestling.

This next chapter is just the start. We all know you’re built for big things, and we can’t wait to watch you go get them. Keep pushing, keep believing, and don’t settle for anything less than your best.

As our first ever Porter Wrestling season comes to an end, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our athletes, families, fans, and supporters who helped make this year possible. From the first practice to the final match, this team showed heart, toughness, and pride in representing Porter.

This season was about building a foundation, creating a culture, and starting something special for our school and community. We are incredibly proud of the effort our wrestlers gave every time they stepped on the mat.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, cheered in the stands, helped behind the scenes, and believed in this program. Your support means everything to us.

This may be the end of our first season… but it’s only the beginning for Porter Wrestling. The work continues, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. 🤠💪

Aly Martinez continues to represent Cowgirl Wresting as she moves onto to round 3 of the 5A Regional IV Tournament. Her hard work and tenacity continue to shine through!
