Hello! Sorry for the late post, but I wanted to reach out in regard to practice tomorrow. We have decided to cancel and reschedule our last practice to a later date, TBD. We had wanted to celebrate with outdoor sand volleyball and popsicles, but the nets didn't make it up this weekend like we were hoping. It's also very hectic with a number of girls out for Shrek tech week, softball, and a number of other conflicts. We will most likely wait until after communion at this point. Tentatively looking at May 11. Stay tuned!

Happy Easter!!! ✝️🐰🐣🌷 No practice tomorrow- Enjoy the last day of spring break!! We’ll see the girls back on the 13th!

🏐 The girls continued to impress last night! 🏐

The vibe was much more conducive to learning- I think last week was very exciting for them starting something new, and with so many friends! They settled in quickly yesterday and got to work!

We continued to focus on foundational passing skills, and added in some setting basics. We may have pushed the limit on their current abilities with that, but we now have a good baseline and will adjust from there.

For next week, please send a hula hoop if you have one for a fun drill! Please don’t buy if you don’t have one, they will be rotating anyway and can share. Also please don’t send a hula hoop to school for the GA kiddos- i think the teachers will appreciate that 😂.

Happy Volleyball Eve! 🏐 This is Ashley Sisley, and I’ll be co-coaching with Katie Bartsch, as well as a few other moms and dads that have generously offered their help for this gigantic group of 23 girls!

First off, my apologies for the text one day ahead of practice- the roster was just finalized this afternoon.

Our first practice is tomorrow, 2/23, from 4:00-5:00 in the lower level gym at Ambrose Crossings.

For tomorrow, please be sure that your daughter:

🏐 Brings a water bottle

🏐 Has a pair of clean, dry tennis shoes to change into. With the slush and salt outside, we want to be respectful of the space!

🏐 Is ready to have fun, learn a ton, and become a great teammate!
