🎯 What is one of your baseball goals for the 2027 season?

“I want to finish with an ERA under 3.00 and an OPS of 1.100 or higher.”

“Ride the Lightning” by Metallica. ⚡️🤘

“I pray every night.”

“Pitching.”

The 2027 Bryant Black Sox 11U are ready to make some headlines! 🖤💙

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing each of our boys with their own Player Spotlight — with a little old-school newspaper twist.

You’ll get to know the player behind the jersey: their goals, personality, what they bring to the team and what makes them unique.

Some answers will make you proud. Some might make you laugh. 😂 But they’ll all be 100% Black Sox.

Summer baseball looks a little different for every Black Sox baller. ⚾️☀️

Our guys have been busy the past few weeks — camps, combines, tournaments and plenty of opportunities to keep competing and getting better.

This time, #20 Barrett Arnold took his game over to the Mini Baseball Camp in Saline Co and came home with some hardware…

And apparently when you win the bunt competition, shirts become optional and the guns come out. 😂💪

All jokes aside, we love seeing our guys spending their summer around the game, competing and having FUN doing it.

A HUGE THANK YOU to La Bamba Restaurant and Cantina for taking care of the Black Sox family at our end-of-year celebration! 🌮⚾️

The food was absolutely incredible, but what means even more to us is the support La Bamba has shown our boys all season long. Youth sports are built on great families, great communities, and local businesses willing to invest in these young men — and we’re incredibly thankful to have La Bamba in our corner.

When you support businesses that support youth sports, everybody wins.

⚾️ CELEBRATING 10U | BRYANT BLACK SOX 🖤💙

Over the weekend, we got our Black Sox family together one more time to celebrate a season these boys gave us plenty to remember.

There was an epic Home Run Derby + Slip & Slide, incredible food catered by our sponsor La Bamba Restaurant and Cantina , plenty of laughs, and most importantly, time together recognizing the work these young men put in all year.

And what a year it was.

28 wins. A 28-10-1 record. Three championships. A trip to the USSSA State semifinals. And finishing the season as the #1 ranked 10U AAA team in Arkansas by USSSA Power Ranking.

Those numbers are worth celebrating — but they only tell part of the story.

These boys competed. They grew. They learned how to win together, how to respond when things didn’t go their way, and what it means to play for the name on the front of the jersey.

Every player received The Standard Award, recognizing what each of them contributed to a special 10U season. We also had the opportunity to recognize a few individual performances with our first player awards — Pitcher of the Year, Offensive Impact, Defensive Anchor, Golden Glove and “Biggest” Hat.

But the picture says more than any award ever could. This is a TEAM.

A huge thank you to all of our parents who helped make the celebration possible — and who have been there for these boys all season long. There’s an old saying that “it takes a village to raise a child,” and baseball has a pretty incredible way of proving it. Every one of these boys is surrounded by people who coach them, cheer for them, encourage them, challenge them and love them.

They’re not just supported by one family. They’re supported by a Black Sox family.

We are blessed to be part of this group, proud of what these boys accomplished at 10U, and even more excited about what’s still ahead.

10U is officially in the books.
11U… we’re coming.

⚾️ FROM THE BLACK SOX TO THE BIG STAGE! ⚾️

What a night for our newest Black Sox baller, Max Bryan #99!

Max had the opportunity to take the mound and throw out the first pitch at the Arkansas Travelers game last night — a pretty special moment for a kid who loves the game of baseball.

Even better? He got to experience it with his Black Sox teammates there cheering him on. 🖤💙

Congrats, Max! We cheered for you last night, and we’ll be cheering for you all season long.

Welcome to the Sox family, #99. We’re glad you’re here.

⚾️🌟 Growth Never Takes the Offseason. 🌟⚾️

When the season ended, the work didn’t.

Congratulations to Ash Hartley ( #8) on being selected to participate in the 2D Summer Games Combine in Broken Bow, Oklahoma—an event that brought together talented players from across multiple states to compete, learn, and continue developing their game.

Opportunities like this allow players to challenge themselves against new competition, learn from different coaches, and see where their game stacks up outside their hometown.

At Bryant Black Sox, that’s exactly what we encourage.

We believe development doesn’t stop after the last tournament. Great players continue to seek competition, embrace coaching, and never stop learning.

We’re proud of Ash for representing our program with the same attitude he’s shown all season—working hard, staying coachable, and always looking for the next challenge.

Keep chasing it, #8.

⚾️🇺🇸 From Bryant to the National Stage. 🇺🇸⚾️

Hard work has a way of opening doors.

After an outstanding 10U season, Conner Hill ( #6) earned the opportunity to represent Arkansas at the USSSA National All-State Championship in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Conner’s selection is the result of countless hours of work, a competitive mindset, and a love for the game. We’re incredibly proud of the player—and young man—he continues to become.

At Bryant Black Sox, we believe youth baseball is about more than wins and trophies. It’s about creating an environment where players are challenged, developed, and given opportunities to grow. When that happens, recognition tends to follow.

This season alone, our program had:
⚾️ 4 players selected to the Arkansas USSSA All-State Showcase
🏟️ 1 player selected for Arkansas 2D Broken Bow Talent Combine in Summer Games
🇺🇸 1 player selected to represent Arkansas at the USSSA National All-State Championship

Those honors belong to the players. They’ve earned every bit of them through their commitment and work ethic.

Congratulations, Conner. You represented Arkansas the same way you’ve represented the Black Sox—with hustle, grit, humility, and heart.

⚾️ Four Black Sox. One Unforgettable Experience. ⚾️

Today, four of our 11U Bryant Black Sox represented our program at the 2026 Arkansas USSSA All-State Showcase in Conway.

Congratulations to Peyton Thomas, Barrett Arnold, Max Bryan, and Ash Hartley on earning the opportunity to compete alongside some of the best players from across Arkansas.

They stepped onto new teams, built new friendships, played new positions, picked up some fresh All-State gear, and most importantly… walked away loving the game even more.

Experiences like this are what youth baseball is all about—growing as players, learning from others, and creating memories that last far beyond the final out.

We’re proud of the way these four represented the Black Sox and can’t wait to get them back together with the rest of the squad.
