🥎 MARAUDERS BATTLE TO A DOUBLEHEADER SPLIT! 🥎

Marauders 12U-Black battled the Wolverines in two hard-fought games Saturday, coming up just short in a 7–6 walk-off loss before responding with a strong 5–3 victory in Game 2 - bringing high energy and lots of heart! These girls know how to get dirty and bring the grit to the game! (and even get the umpires involved in their silly antics 🤣)

The Marauders brought the energy on both sides of the ball. Riley Osoria, Zoey DeLaCruz, Leah Taylor and Seerat Sabharwal delivered outstanding defensive performances throughout the doubleheader, making big plays when their team needed them most.

🔥 Emily Nugent smashed an inside-the-park home run to help spark the Game 2 victory!

🔥 Zoey DeLaCruz battled through four innings in the circle, allowing just three hits and one earned run while recording four strikeouts.

🔥 Leah Taylor dominated in the circle, striking out 10 batters over five innings.

🔥 The Marauders were flawless defensively in Game 2, finishing without a single error.

🔥 The offense created chaos on the bases, collecting 19 stolen bases across the two games.

After a heartbreaking finish in the opener, the Marauders showed their resilience and bounced right back to earn the split. Great fight, great teamwork and a strong finish from the entire squad! ❤️🖤💛

The Marauders take it on the road this week with the Roxbury Rebels on Tuesday night, NJ Vipers on Wednesday and Sparta Diamonds on Friday - Good Luck Ladies!

Mt. Olive 12u Red swept the Randolph Rage in their season opening doubleheader Saturday.

Elianna Sprague shut out the Rage game 1, ringing up 12 strikeouts and surrendering only 2 hits. Ella Wijatyk caught 6 without a dropped 3rd strike. The MO offense shined, tallying 13 runs off 10 hits. Zoe Wroblewski homered and singled driving in 2. Wijatyk went 2-2 for a pair of MO runs. Sprague 2-3. Morgan Friedrich, Brynn Backman, Morgan Belfiore, and Isabella Stoltz each earned a base hit, piling on 4 more for a 13-0 victory.

A full-team defensive effort stole the show in game 2 to pull off a 7-4 comeback win. Belfiore showed incredible grit, striking out 3 and dealing 3 scoreless innings. Wroblewski pulled off a shoestring catch at short and a skyhigh popout behind the dish. Wijatyk barreled in from first for a clutch scoop. Teagan Callhan shut down a threatening inning with a heads up play from left to nab a runner at second. Shoutout to outfielders Kylier Huber, Maddie Steel, Allison Genao, and Braelynn Furman for backups and quick returns to keep the Rage runners honest. Patience at the plate earned MO 11 walks, loading the bases multiple times, but quiet bats left them stranded leaving the Marauders trailing through the fourth. MO finally tied it up and took the lead on back to back gutsy reaches on passed balls from Furman and Steel. Wroblewski went 2-3 for an RBI. Wijatyk doubled. Sprague 2-2. Genao 2-3 to score 2. Belfiore batted in a run.

🥎 **NO-HITTER ALERT!** 🥎

Leah Taylor was absolutely dominant in the circle, throwing the third No-No of her career as the Marauders 12U-Black shut out the NJ Vipers Black, 3–0!

The Marauders broke through with three runs in the fourth inning, while their pitching piled up an impressive 13 strikeouts.

The Mt. Olive Marauders 14U softball team kicked off their season opener in style Monday evening, securing a fantastic 4-2 win against a tough Parsippany squad!

Caitlin Mahon set the tone early with a masterful pitching performance. Caitlin kept the opposition completely off balance all night, racking up a whopping 9 strikeouts while only issuing a single walk.

The defense came ready to play, backing up their pitcher with a stellar, clean performance across the diamond. Key plays and standout defensive moments came from Adri Vilasco at 1st, Harper Bush & Whitney Flood locking it down at 2nd, Farrah Flood at Shortstop, Adri Sanguino anchoring 3rd, and Abby Indano tracking it down in Right Field.

Facing two high-velocity pitchers, the Marauders showed incredible discipline and power at the plate. The offense was sparked by Adri Vilasco with a double and Amd RBI, Adri Sanguino with an rbi, and Emma Walsh with an RBI. Hard hits also came from Olivia Gould, Whitney Flood, and Caitlin Mahon to keep the pressure on Parsippany all night.

🥎❤️ 8U Marauders Travel Softball Home Opener! ❤️🥎

The 8U Marauders Travel Softball team had their home opener this Saturday at Turkey Brook against the Jefferson Falcons!

For many of these young players, it was their first-ever travel softball game, and the whole team brought so much energy, enthusiasm, and heart to the field! We are so excited to watch these talented young girls grow, learn, and make memories together throughout the season.

A big WELCOME to our newest Marauders — Avery, Alexa, Audrey, Charlotte, Finnley, Noelle, Natalie, and Sydney! We are so happy to have you on the team!

Our returning players helped lead the way, showing great teamwork and experience on the field. Julia and Mackenzie made some amazing plays defensively, while Olivia came through with 2 RBIs and Kylee adding another RBI to help get us on the board! Caroline showed incredible hustle and determination on defense!

We couldn’t be more proud of this team and can’t wait to see how these girls continue to progress throughout the season. This is just the beginning!

Next up, the Marauders head to Jefferson on Wednesday for their second game of the season!

MOBSA is excited to offer our residents a new opportunity!!! Roxbury has offered to include Mount Olive in their Buddy Ball league for the Fall season. The goal for both towns is to make this available in the Spring as well with Mt. Olive hosting. Please share with anyone you think would enjoy this program!

Mount Olive Fall Ball 14U had a strong showing Saturday at Russ Nagle Field, falling 8-2 to Upper Deck Elite “New 14s” in the first game before bouncing back with an impressive 8-1 victory in the second game.

Anthony Romano earned the win, allowing just two hits and one unearned run over five innings while striking out five and walking three.

Offensively, Nate Coulote and Ethan Endriga each collected two hits. Endriga and Derek Figueira each drove in two runs. Mount Olive also played clean defense, turning a double play and committing no errors. Coulote led the team defensively with five plays.

Andrew Walters started on the mound and delivered four innings, allowing five hits and four runs—three earned—while striking out five and walking one. At the plate, Ethan Endriga drove in Mount Olive’s lone run, while Nate Coulote collected the team’s only hit, going 1-for-3. Bryce Pieklo drew two walks, and Mount Olive showed patience throughout the game, drawing eight walks.

Despite splitting the doubleheader, Mount Olive Fall Ball 14U showed strong pitching, timely hitting, disciplined at-bats and solid defense throughout the day.

The Marauders 10u Fall played its first game of the season and even though the scoreboard didn’t go our way, there were plenty of positives to take away from this squads first game together!

The boys battled for five innings, put 3 runs on the board, collected 3 hits, worked 4 walks, and our pitching staff combined for 6 strikeouts, but more importantly, we got our first real game reps and came away knowing exactly what we need to work on. Fall baseball is about development, reps, learning and getting better every time we take the field.

Game 1 in the books. Now we get back to work. Building upon the things we did well, and correcting the things we did not. LETS GO MO!!!!!
