Week three of our Yoga for Disc Golf Introductory Series is live!

Welcome to week three of our yoga beginners series! Last week we worked on externally rotated standing yoga poses, this week we will focus on neutral standing poses, working to
strengthen and stretch our PSOAS / hip flexors. We will also introduce a few new poses, such as warrior one, crescent pose, chair pose, and eagle pose.

While last week was an introduction to get your body moving, bring awareness to your core, and intentional movement. This week we will focus on alignment in standing externally rotated poses as well as introduce the concept of pranayama or breath control.

Week 2 of the beginner series we’re going to focus on external rotation in standing poses.

Triangle pose Sanskrit Trikonasana (trikona = triangle, asana = pose) is one of the foundational standing poses in Yoga, creating opening in both the hips and shoulders while strengthening and lengthening the hamstrings and groin.
