The Buffalo Red Dogs lost a heartbreaker 5-4 in overtime in the Championship game in Detroit this morning vs the Brighton Ice from Michigan. The Dogs battled back late in the 3rd to tie the game with a goal by Luci Cartone which was his second of the game with just 32 seconds left on the clock. The Ice shocked the Dogs with a goal just 9 seconds into OT to win the Championship. Joseph Yacus continued his strong play netting another 2 goals in the game and also took home the tournament MVP honors for the Dogs.

The Red Dogs won their second game of the tournament this morning on the big rink 10-4. Joseph Yacus took home the player of the game as he led the way with 4 goals and an assist. Luci Cartone continued his strong play with another hat trick! Harper Hallifax, Charlie Drake and Clay Allard rounded out the scoring. Dogs are back at it this afternoon!

The Red Dogs are in Detroit for a tournament and started the weekend off with a 5-1 win over the Bloomfield Blades! Brayden Tracey started off the scoring with his first of the year and took home the player of the game belt. Harper Hallifax tallied the game winner for her second of the year while Luci Cartone scored his 9th and 10th tally of the year while Clay Allard finished off the scoring with his 9th of the year. The Dogs are back at it tomorrow morning at 7:15am. !

The Buffalo Red Dogs defeated the Tonawanda Thunder 4-0 in a non-league game at Brighton Arena! Ethan Miller stopped every Thunder shot to help lead the Red Dogs to Victory. Madelynn Bellows, Patrick Romanowski, Austin Bugman and Liam Osiadlo all scored for the Red Dogs.
Next Game is Saturday morning, 8am against the Buffalo Jr Sabres at Buff State Ice Arena!
