The countdown to the fourth has officially begun!🎆

While you prepare for barbeques, fireworks, and fun in the sun, here are a few things you can do to keep water safety a priority this holiday:

1️⃣Ensure outdoor containers with standing water are emptied, like coolers, pet bowls, ice buckets, and kiddie pools.
2️⃣Be mindful of weather and water patterns, especially with boating and beach swimming.
3️⃣Never dive headfirst into shallow or unmarked areas.
4️⃣Put away pool toys and remove any climbable objects near the pool or pool fence.
5️⃣Always use the 5 Layers of Protection!
6️⃣Designate an adult to supervise the children at all times, especially if water is involved in your celebrations.

Small steps make all the difference in practicing water safety!
