It is my mission to help people build a deeper and more positive connection to their own bodies.

Bone strength comes from handling force not avoiding it. Impact exercises can help our bones stay strong as we age. So we do them! By starting small and building confidence we can increase the amount of force the body can handle. Helping us stay strong, balanced and independent.

Oh, just people of all ages and skill levels who bring the best energy to every workout while learning to move, bend, lift, jump and turn through strength training; building muscle, strengthening bone, improving flexibility and increasing their resilience all while being kind, funny and fierce. đŸ’Ș😊

I have the best job! 🌙

This work we do together isn’t just about looking or feeling strong. It’s about building something that actually shows up when life gets messy.
Accidents happen no matter how strong you are, but when you’ve built the foundation, you have something to draw on. You don’t end up back where you started, even when you’re recovering.
Our workout sessions are like a training ground for that. In a controlled setting, you’re challenged. Maybe it’s a heavy load, or a movement that feels awkward, or pushing through something that’s hard. But you’re safe and you’re supported. In those moments, you learn how to respond not just with your body, but psychologically too. You build your capacity to stay steady when things are uncomfortable. You build resilience. So when life throws something real at you, like a broken leg or a broken finger, your nervous system already knows what to do.

If you’re ready to join us we have a link in our bio with our full schedule and class descriptions. 🌙

Help us welcome our newest trainer to the studio, Amy! đŸ’«

Amy is a 12-year US Navy veteran who served as both a sonar technician and a foreign language analyst. Before leaving the Navy, she began working with sailors who didn’t pass the semi-annual physical readiness test — taking them to the weight room, training alongside them, and earning her first personal training certification before being discharged. She briefly worked as a trainer in Georgia before moving back to New York to return to school.

A lifelong learner in every sense, Amy now holds two associate degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Marine Environmental Science, and is completing a master’s degree in energy policy and climate.

Amy ran cross-country and track as a teenager and began weight training seriously at 25. She’ll be the first to tell you how fortunate she feels to have stumbled onto that “hobby” — because it’s made life easier, helped her maintain her independence, and kept her active in ways she values deeply. She got recertified recently because she wants to inspire more people, especially older women, to discover that same strength. It is never too late.
