Been a very busy winter.

🦌Time to get back in the swing of things🦌

Hopefully all of you are doing well!

I will be headed to South Africa this weekend, for a week long gun hunt! Very excited to say the least.

I will be posting many pictures from the trip, stay tuned!

Once I get back to the states, it's time to get the food plots in the ground. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

For playing out of turn, this bobcat incurs a fowl

This is textbook ambush predator modus operandi.

Notice how the bobcat gave himself a little bit of runway to pick up speed before surmounting the crest of the trap. This way he has time to shake off a bit of the sand lag and close the gap before the birds know what's happening.

If I had to guess, I'd say he's done this before.

New year, New Rules!

Many changes are starting to go in effect. Some states are banning trail cams while Boone and Crockett begins to push back on new technology.

Fun fact! This is what we train our dogs to track. This is the interdigital gland on a deer. Alot of people think they are trained to track blood. Blood does help and they can smell it along with other scents. But we get calls alot of the time when blood runs out. This is why we train them to track this gland. Each deer has there own specific scent from this gland. I like to think of it like our fingerprint. This is how the dog knows to stay on the deer we are tracking and not another deer that may have crossed the track.
