Last year, when our 2019/20 TGers were considering moving overseas, no one could have predicted what the world would look like today. Heck, no one in the general public could have predicted this pandemic just weeks ago!
Our hearts go out to everyone, TGers and non-TGers, because EVERYONE will be affected by this virus in some way.
Interrupted adventures, lost jobs, restructured education, cancelled or postponed significant events, financial losses, compromised health - we’ll ALL be experiencing one or many of these realities, and no one’s experience will be more important than another’s.
Whatever challenges you face, know that they are relative and matter. Let’s support each other, stay connected (virtually), and use this as an opportunity to innovate, grow, and become more grateful for the freedoms we previously took for granted.

MOOD. 🙌🏅🍾 Getting SOOO excited about seeing this year’s TGers off to the UK in September! 🇬🇧
Here’s a little reminder that not knowing exactly what memorable experiences will take is one of the most exciting realities of taking the leap to move overseas.
We’re pretty sure that never envisioned herself winning a beach tournament and popping bottles of champagne in England (on top of playing volleyball, earning her masters, and traveling Europe) when she first moved to the UK 10 months ago. And we’re pretty sure she’ll never forget it. Congrats, Shari and Mariana!

“The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is that there is an absolutely beautiful world out there and we have the opportunity to take advantage of it. The advice I have for anyone considering the TG Experience is: Don’t fear missing out on what all your friends are doing back home. I guarantee you that when you’re hopping around from country to country and posting pictures of your adventures, the last thing on your mind will be a college house party. Take the plunge and give it a chance, you won’t regret it!”
