Buffalo Dive Recovery

We’re getting good at these black water recoveries!

Went diving for one phone the other day and came up with two! I also found a nice tool and a chair that I was able to recover! The whole, raw video can be found on our YouTube channel! Let me know what you think! The link to this video is in the description!

Fun little dive in the Buffalo River for a phone! Dives like these made me love recording them. Most divers wouldn’t even consider diving in water this murky and I couldn’t believe I could read my computer at depth! Glad we could help and as always… MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Sorry I haven’t been as good about uploading videos of diving. I’ve been making a bunch for work for a different project and that’s taken a bunch of my time, but I did want to share this one. Sometimes my job takes me where very few others have been. In this case it was the Edward M Cotter which was due for a hull cleaning! I should have done a better job going back and forth under the hull and for a cool shot of the prop, so expect that video as soon as I can!

Throw back to an exploratory dive I did to learn an area around a dock.

While I was out looking for a rudder, I accidentally stumbled upon what looks like an old barge wreck! What do you think it looks like?

I went out with to try to find a lost rudder. Unfortunately we didn’t have all the information so I just did a quick search with the plans to return this week once I get a more exact location of the rudder. On the plus side, we didn’t recover an anchor. I’ll post the raw video to YouTube for those interested!

For a sunny day it sure was dark down there. You can see me try to use my flashlight to no avail before having to play in the mud! Fortunately I found the phone, and unfortunately it was only at 71% battery life still.
