MATCHDAY 9 – The Final Matchday ⚽

A huge congratulations to the Buffalo Bengals FC, crowned champions of the very first Buffalo Football League 2025 season! 🏆 Their victory was thoroughly deserved, proving week after week why they were the team to beat—finishing top of the table with only one loss all season.

The last matchday featured a single game as 716 Elites FC secured a dominant 5-1 victory over Baba's Boys FC. The standout performance came from Alsayem, who scored twice, while Rokib, Hasibul, and Mehrab with a crucial goal to open his account at the last match day. For Baba’s Boys FC, Erfath found the net with their only goal.

The second scheduled fixture unfortunately had to be forfeited due to lack of available players.

This season had it all—passion, drama, football, and even some heated battles along the way. But beyond the competition, it was about building something bigger: a league that brought people together, united by the love of the game.

We want to thank everyone who made this possible—every fan who showed up, every volunteer who gave their time, every team that fought hard, and everyone who stepped up when needed. None of it went unnoticed, and we are truly grateful.

The summer’s winding down, and so is the league. Here’s how it went:

⚔️ NY CLUB XI 3 – 2 716 Elites FC
Abdi and Ibrahim put Club XI up 2-0 at the half, but Elites roared back through Sayem and Rokib to level it.
Just when it looked like momentum had shifted, a through ball to Navid sealed the deal for Club XI. A true back-and-forth thriller with both sides leaving it all out there. 👏

MATCHDAY 7 – Drama & Destruction 😤⚽

716 Elites FC and NY CLUB XI went toe-to-toe in a tense chess match. Nurul put Club 11 in the driver’s seat, but Alsayem slammed the brakes with an equalizer to share the spoils. No movement in the table—but plenty of side-eye knowing every point is gold right now. 🥶

Then came the carnage. The Buffalo Bengals FC didn’t just win—they hunted. Fazal dropped 4, Aunoy hit a hat-trick, and Emu sprinkled on the final touch in an 8-0 demolition of Baba’s Boys. Top of the table, claws out, and no mercy given. 🐅💥

The title race is turning into one sided race and it seems like it's only a matter of time that race is finished.

Apologies for the late update—due to some match delays, results took time to finalize. But Matchday 6 was well worth the wait.

💥 Buffalo Bengals FC vs 716 Elites FC delivered exactly what was promised: a title-deciding thriller filled with intensity, tackles, and razor-thin margins. Fazal opened the scoring for the Bengals with a slick counter-attack, only for the Elites to respond through Rony’s composed finish. But in the end, it was Bengals’ composure that made the difference—Rakib capitalized on a small lapse from the Elites defense and slotted home the match-winner. A proper chess match at the top.

🎇 Baba’s Boys vs NY CLUB XI turned into a full-on goal fest! What the flyer doesn’t tell you is that Shahrier got on the scoresheet, and Mahdi smashed in a debut goal with an absolute rocket. But the star of the show? Istehad, who lit up the field with 4 goals, while Nayeem, Abdi, and Navid each added a brace to their name. An attacking bonanza from start to finish. A good counterattack came from babas from Samun and Saad but it was never enough.

This matchday could go down as season-defining, but the race is far from over. With only a few weeks left, every goal, every tackle, and every mistake matters more than ever. The pressure is building—and so is the drama.
