Saturday morning dance returns!!!!
Happy 2021! In addition to our weekday schedule of private and semi private instruction, we will be offering small group Saturday lessons beginning on February 20th. Lessons will be suitable for ages 4 to 12, one hour in length and include ballet, tap and a little bit of jazz. The price will be $90.00 every four weeks of lessons (one month) and the dancers will be separated by age and experience. Class size will be limited to five students. If you would like to sign up, please email Brigitte: [email protected].
Thank you!
Hello all! Hope you are well! If you still need to pick up your costume that was going to be used in the June show, we are at the dance school Monday - Thursday from 2:30PM to 6:30PM. You might like to use your costume for Halloween!
Good morning! After careful consideration and some interest, we have decided to open for a limited schedule of private in person lessons (or semi private lessons for sisters) starting the week of September 7th. The lessons will meet once a week for a half hour. We can accommodate any style of dance you like or a combination. The price will be $180.00 per month (4 lessons) for a private, and $230.00 per month (4 lessons) for a semi private. The times available will be Monday - Thursday from 2 to 6PM. If you would like to sign up, please email Brigitte at [email protected] with the following information: your name, the student name or names, and a time slot you would like plus two alternatives if that one is taken. Please also include the types of dance you would like and your phone number. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we figure out how to manage in this new and unusual world. We really miss the old one!
Our next costume pickup day will be Wednesday, August 26, from 4 to 6PM.
Hello friends. First and foremost, we miss you all terribly. We look forward to the day when we can dance with you again. With the majority of schools starting the year remotely, and the governor’s strong recommendation to postpone all in person extracurricular activities, we have decided to not open for in person classes this fall. We are considering some online options. In the meantime, keep stretching, keep dancing around the house, and keep healthy.
We will have another costume pickup day this Thursday, August 13th, from 4 to 6PM.
We will have another costume pickup day this Thursday, August 6th, from 4 to 6PM.
We will have another costume pickup day this Wednesday, July 29, from 4 to 6PM.
Hello friends! All of the costumes that were going to be used in our June show have finally arrived! We will be at the dance school this Thursday, July 23rd, from 4 to 6. Please come and pick yours up if you can.
We are also working on our plan to get your beautiful dancers safely back to class in September. Our website is being updated and we will offer online registration and payment. Registration will begin in mid August. Exact date coming soon. Thank you for your patience as we try to navigate this new and unusual world.

We will have another costume pick up day when they arrive. The costume companies back East were unable to make costumes during the stay at home order. That is why the costume arrival is delayed. Hi Dancers! We miss you all so much! Remember this? A photo from our recital on June 2, 2019. You were all spectacular! We are still waiting for some of the costumes to arrive for our show that was going to be on June 14th of this year. When they do, we will have a pick up day. Also, we are working on a plan to possibly have some small group lessons later this summer. We look forward to the day that we can see your beautiful faces and dance with you again.
Keep positive! Stay healthy! Keep stretching! Stay tuned!
When all of the costumes from our show that was going to be on June 14th arrive, and when the stay-at-home order is finally lifted, we will have a couple of costume pick up days at the dance school. We will also try to use as many of these costumes as possible in our December 2020 show. Thank you all!
Dear BDT family,
Due to the recent school closures, we will now be closed through the end of the school season. Unfortunately, this means that our show is no longer a possibility. We are very disappointed, but know that we will come back next year better than ever. In this break, please keep dance in your life. Stretch, practice, and create as many new steps as you can. We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support. Keep strong, and we will dance with you again.
Yours truly,
BDT
Good morning. We still have our recital date down for June 14th. With great hope, it could happen. With all of the uncertainty in the world though, we will be postponing the start of ticket sales. Tickets will now go on sale May 4th.
Hello. We would like to confirm that you will not be charged when the school is closed. Stay well and take care of each other.... keep stretching and practice what you remember. We can’t wait to get back to our regular dance lessons.
Hi Friends! Hope you are well. Here is an idea to help keep the creativity rolling in your house. Encourage your child to make up a dance of their own. They can use a favorite song and add techniques they have learned in class or make up their own moves. We would love to see their choreography when we get back to class!
Hello friends! Our policy is to close our doors when the Highline School district closes theirs. Starting tonight, March 12th, we will be closed. Keep stretching and practicing your dances because we hope to pick up where we left off at the end of April. Love and health to all!
