The Kentucky 4-H program offers all young people the opportunity to master life skills. As part of the University of Kentucky 4-H Game Day, Matthew Spears and Jordan McCloughan were recognized as examples of youth who take advantage of the opportunity to get involved in 4-H and master skills. 2018 4-H Camp Promo
Summer is near and it is time to sign up for 4-H Camp. Get those applications in before our spots are all gone. Tuesday (June 5th) is the absolute deadline to apply for a scholarship. $20 deposit will reserve your spot. Fundraisers are scheduled for June 8th (Rib-Eye Lunch) and June 9th (Car Wash) to help lower the cost even more. Do something this summer you will remember for the rest of your life. Great day for Safety Day at Burkesville Baptist Church. If you have a 4th - 6th grade student, talk with them about what they learned today at Safety Day. It could save a life.
Congratulations to all the Cumberland County 4-H Hot Shots who participated in the Lake Cumberland Area Shoot today in Marrowbone. Keep up the good work and one day we may see you in the Olympics shooting for the University of Kentucky Rifle Team.
Can you believe it is already time to sign up for 4-H Camp again. Cumberland County will be going to Camp June 5-8. Applications and a $10 deposit is due April 23rd. The rest of the money is due by June 1st. Check out the video, it brings back wonderful memories. 4-H Camp is a special place, are you ready!
