The BTX Volts are excited to introduce our Head Coach, ⚡️Travis Mooney⚡
Coach Travis brings years of softball coaching experience and a genuine passion for developing young athletes. Over the past three seasons as a 12U select head coach, he’s built competitive teams while earning the trust and respect of his players and their families. Last season, his team finished with an impressive 45-15 record.
As a former high school and collegiate catcher, Travis understands the game from every angle. His experience behind the plate helped shape the leadership, communication, and game management skills that define his coaching style today.
For Coach Travis, success is about more than the scoreboard. His goal is to develop fundamentally sound players, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and inspire a strong work ethic that carries beyond the softball field. He believes every athlete deserves the opportunity to grow, compete, and reach their full potential.
Whether it’s extra reps after practice, teaching the finer details of the game, or celebrating each player’s progress, Coach Travis is fully invested in helping every athlete succeed.
