🧗 VT Climb festival 2024 🎉
Such a blast!! Such a great event. So many laughs and so many friends 💜
🧗♂️Thrust Fault, V3 | 📍 Lone Rock, Vermont
From about a month ago! Got out to Lone Rock Point on a perfect day with and !
It was more intimidating than I expected. Falling into the water did not give me as much confidence as I expected. I was definitely overgripping on the sharp rock. Such a fun spot for a nice day! Will have to go pack. Nico sent a maybe V5/6 off to the right side of the boulder.
🧗♀️What could go wrong!?!?
🧗♀️"Add some spice to the easy routes, it's not always about conquering the hardest ones! 🌶️💪 "
This V1 is a perfect example. It was 10x more fun to climb it without the easy feet. A little reminder to find the fun in every climb!!
🔥Ever eyed a boulder and thought, 'piece of cake'? 🍰 Well, let me tell you about the time I had a similar thought.
🌄This boulder problem from the comp I thought looked easy and not a problem. Then trying it after proved to be more difficult. What I thought would be a walk in the park proved to be anything but.
🏔️This is from a longer video on my YouTube channel(Link in bio). My friend and I climbed some of the competition boulders. Of course, this was after the competition so there was much to discuss. Especially about grades. Check it out!
🔥An awesome route from the Comp 2 weeks ago!! Back to the gym this week to showcase it!
⛰️So many people were trying and sending this one. It was a good balance of strength and technique.
💪Seeing so many people trying and succeeding was rad 🤘. The holds do not look particularly approachable however they are pretty good.
🎉This is a gem of a climb from Petra Cliffs!!
🧗♂️ They say doing something new can scare you, but also make you feel alive. Last week, I heeded that call.
🌿 I ventured outside, swapping my comfort zone for the wild. There, amidst nature's splendor, I faced a formidable challenge.
💪 Not an easy task, but hey, when was the pursuit of dreams ever a cakewalk? I embraced the struggle, the mental and physical test, the grit it demanded.
🔍 And in the end, wasn't just about the climb. It was about exploration; discovering new trails, new strengths, and new aspects of myself.
😄 So here's to facing and embracing adversity! It's never a question of can you, but will you?
We went outdoors climbing on Friday to check out a new rock!! John explains the type of rock and how it makes climbing unique!
