Tough Mudder 2017.
Had an amazing time, was ready to be done after mile 5, was hangry by mile 10.

Second week of doing weighted glute bridges since my surgery and I was able to hit 205 lbs.

No hay progreso sin esfuerzo.

There is no progress without effort.

Today I had my first real leg workout since my surgery. I'm itching to start lifting heavier weights.

We don't realize how much our bodies are affected by standing or sitting for long periods of time during the workday. You begin to feel knots as your muscles begin to shorten, the tightness and tension sets in. Foam rolling also known as SMR is one of the most effective ways to relieve this tension. The deep compression allows tight muscles to relax all while improving blood circulation, and range of motion.

Han pasado 5 semanas desde la cirugía. Este es el resultado de la atrofia muscular. Es hora de empezar a fortalecer mis piernas. Sera un proceso lento, pero valdra la pena.

5 weeks post surgery, this is the result of muscle atrophy. It's time to start strengthening my legs again. It's gonna be a slow process, but it will be well worth it.

I'm still not out of my knee immobilizer, and I'm no where near fully recovered from my surgery but I leave no room for excuses. Even if I can't train both legs I can keep at least keep one toned.

Todavía no he dejado de usar el inmovilizador de rodilla y todavia no he recuperado de la cirugía, pero no hay excusas. Si no puedo entrenar ambas piernas, puedo hacer ejercicio para tonificar una pierna mientras que se me recupere la otra. No eres producto de tus circunstancias, eres producto de tus decisiones.
