What a wonderful performance by Ms. Sandy’s graduates. As always she gave each student a beautiful send-off speech filled with memories from their time at Pleasant Dale Park District pre-school. Family and friends gathered to celebrate with the children.

Please join us in congratulating our intern, Brian Crist, on the completion of his internship with the Pleasant Dale Park District! 🎉

Brian graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Sports Management and has been an incredible part of our team from January through early May.

Throughout his internship, Brian assisted with a variety of programs including Girls Basketball, Spring Soccer, Spring Break Camp, Youth Programs, and our Senior Lunch & Bingo Program. His hard work, positive attitude, and dedication made a great impact on both our staff and participants.

We wish Brian the best of luck in all of his future endeavors and thank him for all of his contributions this spring! 👏

Thank you to the family’s that participated in the Walker Park Community Planting Day May 9th. Over 30 trees were donated and planted thanks to the Morton Arboretum Chicagoland Tree Initiative.

Participants had a wonderful time getting creative—designing their own scented candles and colorful botanical wax melts. From choosing unique fragrances to decorating with vibrant botanicals, each pair created something truly special to take home 💕

Our Learn to Crochet class is the perfect place for kids to get creative, try something new, and have FUN! Participants will learn the basics of crochet—including simple stitches and techniques—while working on exciting beginner-friendly projects each week.
