Butler Youth Basketball & Volleyball

We will combine 4th grade with 5th grade to make one team for volleyball. If your daughter is in 4th grade, you should’ve received a call and or a text today confirming if she still wants to play with having to play up a division. Please get back to us asap as practices will be starting within the next couple of weeks. If we don’t hear back from you by this Friday then we will assume your daughter does not want to play. 5th grade, once we get times set for practices, a message will be sent out to the whole team for those days and times. You do NOT need a physical to play youth league. If your daughter is in 6th grade and plans to play JH with the school then she will need a physical before practices start.

We are extending volleyball sign ups until next Wednesday July 26 at 8am to try to get a couple more girls for each division to make teams. Looking for atleast 2 more 4th grade girls, 2 more 5th grade girls & 2 more 6th grade girls.

This will include running sign ups, going to south 71 meetings and hosting and running a few home games on Sunday afternoons. If you are interested in this, please inbox us. Pictures are in & will be handed out to coaches tomorrow at games. The first round of tournament for 3rd-6th grade league will be next Saturday February 18. The tournament schedule will be out hopefully by Monday or Tuesday. Boys will be at Midway and girls will play at Miami. It is a single elimination tournament. 3rd place & championship games will be February 25 at Archie.

This is the makeup schedule for Sunday at home. 3rd & 4th grade will play at the multi gym. 5th & 6th grade will play at the high school. Entrance will be through the auditorium doors on the east side of the school for the high school gym. There will be no concession stand open but there will be water & Gatorade at the gate.
***This goes for home and away games, please clean up your trash when you leave. Everyone running these games are volunteers and the amount of trash & spilled drinks that have to be cleaned up are crazy***

We have makeup games Sunday February 6. We are looking for a group that wants to run concession at the multi gym and also the HS gym that day. First game starts at noon and the last game starts at 4:00pm. Please PM if you’re interested. You get to keep everything you make.

For this Saturday's games, the entrance will be at the office doors by the flag pole on the east side of the high school. (Fulton street)

We also need one volunteer to run gate from 4:00-5:00 (6th boys will be playing) and one person from 5:00-6:15. (6th girls will be playing)
