🏁 Gondik law speedway recap. Long post!
Thursday started 7th in his heat making it to 5th. With passing points he didnt have enough and needed to run the B main. He was running 3rd and with 3 to go he spun and was sent to the back. He had to be top 8 to transfer. He was able to pass the 2 cars he needed to make the A. Starting 24th of the 25 starting. He drove an incredible race and was hard charger passing 13 cars! He finished 11th.
Friday he started 4th in his heat and finished 3rd. Starting him 8th in the feature. He finished 10th.
Saturday heat he started 4th and finished 5th. Giving him a starting spot of 3rd in the B main. The boys decided to do a gear change before the B and he was able to come out with a win starting him 17th in the feature. He again worked his way through the field. At one point he was 5th but with a restart and we think the tires going away a little he still managed a 7th place finish.
We couldn't be more proud of him this weekend. He definitely drove hard and it showed what he is capable of. Hoping this gives him a little confidence booster going into specials season.

Jaxon was also able to get away a little on Saturday and visit our friends BRMP Karting Speedway for part of their double header race.

Heat race p4 to p5... on to the B main...
B main p3 to 1st... starts 17th in the A main...

Dairyland Dash weekend in the books.
Saturday results. Heat p8 to p4. Locked into the A starting 11th. Car had some issues making it harder to run the bottom so he hung on the top side and finished 18th.
Sunday results. Heat p4 to p4. Giving him a 12th starting spot for the feature. He scored as 10th at one point, then got hung on the wrong line for a few laps losing a few spots. With 3 to go he hit a hole which made the car dart left towards the infield right into a tire. Nothing major broke. But will take some time to get straightened back out.
As always we couldnt do this without our amazing supporters and everyone who is always willing to help!!

Unfortunately, tonight’s Labor Day Showdown has been cancelled.

After receiving just shy of two inches of rain yesterday, combined with today’s hot and humid conditions and the lack of sun and wind, the track and pit areas remain far too wet to safely and properly prepare for tonight’s event.

With our biggest event of the year just a few weeks away, it is simply not worth tearing up and potentially damaging the track and grounds trying to force tonight’s event in. We want to make sure the facility is in the best possible condition heading into our year-end special later this month.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at Red Cedar Speedway September 25-26 for the 46th Annual P***y Manor Challenge of Champions!

Supporting those who support us this weekend.
One of sponsors has an event every year and we always attend. Without the support of these guys we wouldnt be able to accomplish what we do. We brought the car out, and while unfortunately Rice Lake canceled it meant the boys got to hang out for the weekend. There were lots of laughs had and memories made until next year.

Thank you Road Dogs MC. For all you do. We are grateful to have you guys as family.

Finally headed home. What a weekend. Were going to recap Saturday night first.

A good draw starting him P2 for the heat. And he finished 1st. His first heat win this season. Redraw put him starting 3rd in a field of 12. He dropped to 4th, and finished there. His first top 5. It was great to see him put together 2 good races.

Friday in superior he started 3rd and finished 3rd in the heat. This put him starting 2nd in the feature. He dropped to 5th for a few laps and then did not have a good corner in 3 and 4 and dropped back to 9th. He lost a few more spots at one point putting him 13th. But he managed to work his was back to 9th to finish the race.

Unsure if he is racing next Saturday yet but we will keep you all posted.
