Happy Birthday to one of the best coaches around!

Thank you for the countless hours, patience, encouragement, and dedication you pour into these boys.

We’re also pretty sure you’re the only coach around who can throw batting practice, coach a game, and somehow survive an entire Alabama summer without ever giving up the boots and jeans.

We appreciate everything you do for this team and our families. We hope your birthday is as legendary as those boots on the pitcher’s mound.

Happy Birthday, Coach!

It’s hard to believe we’re already here.

One more tournament. A few more games. A few more chances to put on the uniform, and cheer for each other.

This weekend isn’t just about wins and losses. It’s about finishing strong, encouraging one another, and leaving everything on the field. It’s about the friendships built, the memories made, and the growth we’ve seen from every player along the way.

Our verse for the weekend is:

“Encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

As we head into our final scheduled tournament, our goal is simple: be loud with encouragement, play for each other, and honor the game the right way.

Let’s finish strong, Expos. ❤️💙🤍

This weekend we head to Vestavia ⚾️

Before the first pitch is thrown and before the scoreboard matters, this is the message we want our boys carrying with them Saturday:

“In humility value others above yourself.” — Philippians 2:3

In youth sports, talent matters. Effort matters. Competing matters. But character matters just as much.

Teaching our boys to win with humility, respect their opponents, encourage their teammates, and do the right thing even when no one is watching is really what it’s all about. Those lessons will stay with them long after the season ends.

We are so grateful to be part of a team that values honesty, integrity, accountability, and sportsmanship just as much as wins and losses. That kind of environment shapes not only better athletes, but better young men.

Our focus Saturday:
• Win with humility
• Respect opponents
• Be gracious in victory
• Play the game the right way

Proud of these boys every single week. Now let’s get ready to play ball. 🔥

Behind every ballplayer is a mama making a hundred things happen that nobody else sees.

The early mornings. The late nights. The constant laundry piles covered in dirt and red clay. The packing and unpacking of bags. The forgotten water bottles. The extra snacks. The driving from school to practice to games and somehow still making it home in time to do it all over again the next day.

We spend countless hours in the heat, the cold, the rain, and the chaos just to watch our boys do what they love most. We cheer until our voices are gone, stress over every pitch, celebrate every little win, and pick them back up after the hard games too.

Baseball moms are nurses, chauffeurs, snack coordinators, uniform washers, schedule keepers, pep-talk givers, photographers, cheerleaders, and sometimes even unofficial assistant coaches. We carry folding chairs like trophies and know how to survive entire weekends at the ballfield on caffeine and concession stand food.

But truthfully? We wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Because one day these little boys won’t need us to zip up their bat bags or remind them where they left their cleats. One day the car rides home from practice will be over. So even on the exhausting days, we soak it all in because we know these moments are special.

This season, I just want to take a minute to appreciate every single baseball mom on our team. The ones who show up every time. The ones who love not only their own kids but every kid in the dugout. The ones who help without being asked, encourage each other, and make this team feel like family.

We see you.
We appreciate you.
And these boys are lucky to have you.

⚾️ MEET OUR BASEBALL MOMS ⚾️

The dads asked each player for ONE word to describe their mom… and honestly, the answers are everything. 💙

Each photo below is one of our amazing moms with her ballplayer, along with the special word their son chose to describe her.

Here’s to the baseball moms, the real MVPs behind the scene. Happy Mother’s Day!!
