🏆 2026 PERFECT GAME 8U CP GULF SHORES WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS 🏆

What a way to close out our Mayhem 8U journey! This week we went 7-1 and had to reel off FOUR games in a row on championship Saturday, fueled by plenty of Sour Power 🍬 and Piggy Power 🐷, and were able to bring home the Perfect Game Gulf Shores World Series Championship!

This special group also reached an incredible milestone this week, our 100th team win while playing at the beach. To finish our season with a 62-9 record is something these players, coaches, and families should be extremely proud of.
What makes this team so special isn’t just the wins. Every single player brings something unique to the field. The bond these players share is something you can’t teach. They truly play for each other, and that’s what makes Mayhem different.

As the final out was recorded, there wasn’t a dry eye in the stands. This chapter of baseball has been filled with memories, friendships, championships, growth, and countless moments we’ll never forget. While it’s hard to say goodbye to our last Coach Pitch tournament, we’re excited to rest, reset, and begin the next adventure. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what this group can accomplish as we move into 9U Kid Pitch.

🏆 PSA Coach Pitch World Series Champs!! 🏆

Our Mayhem boys balled out this weekend going 4-0 scoring 63 runs and only allowing 4 runs all weekend. It was a complete team performance!
The numbers are impressive, but what makes this group special is the way they play for each other. Every player contributed, every player competed, and every player embraced their role in bringing home the championship.

This tournament win was extra special as it was the last for our second baseman, Kasen Hyde. Kasen and his family are moving back to PA and they’ve been such an integral part of Mayhem since the very beginning, and we’ll miss them so much.

Baseball brings people together, and sometimes it makes saying goodbye a little harder. We are grateful for the time we had together and know Kasen will do great things in Pennsylvania. We wish him and his family nothing but success, happiness, and plenty of wins down the road.

♥️ prayers for Xavier!

A single, tragic throw during a routine baseball warm-up changed everything for 12-year-old Xavier Taylor. Struck in the neck by a stray ball, the young athlete suffered cardiac arrest and was airlifted to the hospital, where he now remains on life support.

While Xavier fights for survival, his father has shown immense grace, refusing to blame the heartbroken teammate involved. In a beautiful display of solidarity, communities across the country are placing baseball bats on their porches to honor the young player. Machines are sustaining his body, but an entire nation's love is sustaining his spirit. As the vigil continues outside his hospital window, everyone is holding their breath for a miracle.

Mayhem is hitting the road this weekend, heading down to Canton to compete in the Perfect Game Southeast Regional NIT against 18 of the southeast’s best.

A great opportunity to test ourselves against top competition and continue growing as a team.
