Hello!
I am originally from Hewitt, MN where I went to Bertha-Hewitt High School. I played 6 years of varsity volleyball and basketball. I continued my education at the University of Jamestown where I played college basketball. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and fitness. Before coming to CIHS, I have been the head volleyball and assistant girls basketball coach at Yellow Medicine East HIgh school in Granite Falls, MN. We played in a very good conference and part of the Section 3A tournament. I am extremely excited about taking the position here at CIHS. The potential of this program is something that I am extremely excited to grow and be a part of.

DESCRIPTION:

K-2
This camp will focus on the love of the game. making it fun and showing what volleyball can be about. This will focus on the most basic skills that volleyball has and working to create a space for growth.
3-5
This will focus on love of the game, but will also develop skills that are needed to create ways of scoring in the game. While this is still centered around fun, the girls will have a better feeling of the way the game works.
6-8
This camp will be working on fundamentals of the game. I want to foster what the game will turn into at the high school level. As we work on fundamentals, we will also be working on how the game moves faster and setting up the ball.
9-12
This is a skills focused camp that will be faster and playing the game. We will have ex-college players from the University of Jamestown helping teach the girls and bring the game to a new level.

Grade K-2 July 27th and 28th from 9:30-11 price is $50

Grade 3-5 July 27th and 28th from 12-3 price is $75

Grade 6-8 July 27th and 28th from 4-7 price is $75

Grade 9-12 july 30th and 31st from 9:30-12:30 and 1:30 to 3:30 price is $110.
