Former CRMS / Camden Hills wrestler Brady Hedstrom's family lost a son (Brady's brother Theodore) and a home to fire last week. We feel for the family and Brady during this time.
MCWC has donated to the effort to support the family. Not only did Brady wrestle for our program, but his parents were strong supporters and his Dad often let us use his business' van to travel out of state and he also supported MCWC financially.
Here is a link to a Gofundme for the family if you feel so inclined to offer support.

WRESTLING STILL HAPPENING...
Congrats to Camden Hills rising sophomore Julian Henderson for competing in the Summer Nationals in Atlantic City, New Jersey last week. Julian wrestled HS 108 and 15U 110 in both duals and individual tournaments getting 26 wrestled matches finishing 16-10 overall (21-10 including forfeits). He was 3rd in HS Freestyle and 2nd in 15U Freestyle. He also went 6-0 in the HS duals wrestling for Steel Valley Renegades out of PA and earned All American Status. For those wondering... this was held outdoors, we had to get temp checked each morning, masks were required for all wrestlers/spectators except when wrestling, and we voluntarily got covid tests on return - NEGATIVE! Sports can happen. Be smart and live your dreams!
