Results from the post race tire tests are in. After the 1st and 2nd place cars being disqualified for “samples that do not conform to the benchmark”, we are the winners of the $5000 to win Midwest Dirt Nationals at Paducah International Raceway. What a roller coaster that weekend was, from qualifying towards the back Friday, then to make up some spots in the heat to have a chance at a good run Saturday. After making some more changes Saturday, we knew we had a car that would be fast for 30 lap feature around a very fast track. Started 10th in the Feature to make up the 7 spots for a podium finish. After our tire tests came back good, we were declared the winner.
We’ve went about this year a little differently, trying to focus more on bigger shows. Traveling to tracks that we have no or very little track time. This has seemed to help grow our little team. We are coming off some good runs at these new tracks but none as big as this win. We are going to take this momentum and try to finish the remainder of our season strong.

This weekend we made the trip to Paducah International Raceway for the Midwest Dirt Nationals. We rolled off the trailer good Friday night with some changes to be made, didn’t do well in qualifying which had us starting 7th in heat number 2. We made some very quick moves at the start of the heat and finished the 8 laps in 5th place. Saturday morning we unloaded and made some changes to free up the car before hot laps, we ran hot laps and thought the car was in very good shape for the feature. We rolled off 10th for the $5,000 to win 30 lap A-main. After some very quick moves early and a lucky caution after a long run we were 4th on the final restart with 3 to go. We took the green and made a quick pass to come in 3rd to bring home $2,000. Such a fun weekend at the track, it was a great show and we can’t thank all of our partners enough. Special thanks to Johnny Phillips for keeping us competitive all weekend.

We WON!! Thank you everyone that liked our post!! We won an armband for tonight’s race! We are racing Paducah International Raceway tonight and tomorrow if you want to come out and watch! The facilities are really nice and it will be some good racing for $5000 to win! Let us know you’re here if you decide to come.
