Always great news to share at CYW 👊🏻😎 Paisleigh got her first win at Mt. Markmam this weekend, Hunter left it all on the mat that the Section 3 independent tournament!

Easton went 2-2 for the day on the Section 3 dual A team….he’s back at it again today! Let’s go EASTONNNN 👊🏻 Camden Youth is rooting for you!

Easton will be wrestling this Saturday and Sunday March 28th and 29th at Accelerate on Judd Road in Whitesboro. Wrestling starts at 8, come cheer on Easton and watch some of the best wrestlers in our Section this weekend!

Some of our Camden Youth Wrestlers took to the mat at the Lowville Tournament 👊🏻 Paisleigh, Nolen and Myles had a blast!

Nolen took 2nd going 4-1 for the day, Myles took to the mat for the first time and left it all out there, great fight Myles! And Paisleigh wrestled her second tournament ever and was making some great moves, she even scored some takedown and escape points!

Congrats to our 3 NYWAY wrestlers; Hunter, Easton and Colton! For their first performance at NYWAY States they all 3 came out with a win for the day.

Across theatre and sports, it's a busy weekend in Blue Devil country. Amidst the flurry of challenges and opportunities ahead, you may not find anyone quite as busy as CHS senior Gage Grinnell. On Friday, Gage and the CHS Musical Cast open their production of "Big Fish" with a 7 PM performance, where he is starring in the lead male role as storyteller extraordinaire Edward Bloom.

That seems busy enough for one day, but on Saturday, it all goes up a notch. On Saturday morning, Gage will briefly switch characters - and eras - as he takes part in the Syracuse Regional Shakespeare Competition hosted by the Syracuse Branch of the English Speaking Union. As Camden's school-wide champion, he will perform a Shakespearean Monologue, and a Shakespearean Sonnet for the judges. The winner advances to the national competition in New York City.

Once the competition is complete, he will head back to Camden for two more "Big Fish" performances. A 2 PM matinee, and a 7:30 PM concluding performance.

Whether it's on our stage, or at Syracuse Stage, best of luck this weekend from all of us!
