⚾️ First tournament in the books for the 5U Canton Cougars!

Even with the weather trying to slow us down, these boys still got out there and battled in the rain. We finished the day 1-1 against two tough teams — Acworth Orange and Kennesaw Generals.

Big shoutout to our MVP of the day, Julian, for showing up big when it counted! 🔥
Kaysen had his bat absolutely on fire, including an inside-the-park home run! 💣⚾️
And Austin showed amazing hustle all day, making sure those bats were ready in the dugout and giving it his all every inning.

These boys may have gotten a little muddy today 😅 — sorry parents about those white uniforms! But one thing is for sure… they hustled their hearts out every single inning.

So proud of the fight, teamwork, and heart this team showed all weekend. We’ve got a weekend off, then it’s back to work as we hit the ground running for the next tournament.

’Twas the morning of our first tournament, and all through the town,
The 5U Canton Cougars were getting geared up to throw down.
Their bats were all packed in the dugout with care,
In hopes that big hits soon would fly through the air.

The players were buzzing with smiles ear to ear,
Dreaming of baseball and cheering so loud you could hear.
Their jerseys were ready, their cleats tied up tight,
Prepared for a weekend of baseball done right.

The coaches were focused, the parents all proud,
Ready to cheer for the Cougars strong and loud.
From first pitch to last, win or lose we all know,
These boys will play hard and continue to grow.

So here’s to our Cougars, our team full of pride,
With teammates and families all right by their side.
Now let’s load up the coolers and head to the field,
It’s tournament time… GO COUGARS — never yield! 🐾⚾

What an amazing year for our Cougar boys! Today we celebrate all the hard work, growth, friendships, and memories made throughout kindergarten. We are beyond proud of each and every one of you! ❤️⚾🖤
