After returning to the football field in 2023 following a near fatal aneurysm, Coach/Owner Ron McEwen II continued to show the same heart, determination, and love for the game that has defined his journey. Canes will be temporarily ceasing operations. This decision was not an easy one. Anyone involved in semi-pro football knows the amount of time, money, sacrifice, commitment, and love that goes into building and maintaining an organization. Behind every game, practice, player, coach, and season are countless hours and sacrifices that most people never see. We want to sincerely thank every player that rode with us till the end, coach, supporter, sponsor, family member, and member of the TPFL family who contributed to the Hurricanes along the way. You helped make this organization more than just a football team, you made it a family.
While the Canes may be shutting down operations, the memories, friendships, battles, victories, lessons, and brotherhood will never disappear.
A special congratulations and farewell to Coach/Owner Ronald McEwen II as he begins his next chapter in Atlanta, Georgia for a brief time. We wish you nothing but success in your new journey. ππ§‘

THE CANES MAY BE DONE 4 NOW, BUT THE MEMORIES WILL LIVE FOREVER. πͺοΈπ π₯Ήπ₯²π

After a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Patricians, the Canton Hurricanes have a chance to respond the only way they know howβby getting back to work.
This week, the Hurricanes host to take on the Tri County Rams in a matchup that will test this team's resilience, focus, and character. Last week's result hurt, but the season isn't defined by one game. Championship teams are measured by how they respond to adversity. The Storm isn't over, it's just getting stronger. πππ§οΈβοΈ

The Canton Hurricanes may be 0-4, but don't let the record fool you. Every game has been a battle, and this team continues to fight.
Offense led by WR Tyler Jones, and RB J'von Mangum the Hurricanes are looking to bring maximum intensity and make a statement against the Warren Pirates this Saturday.
Anchoring the defensive front, Jeremiah Grayson will lead the charge on the defensive line along with our standout MLB Obrien, while defensive backs Xavier Smith and Eric Cheeks look to lock down the secondary and establish a true "No Fly Zone" against the Warren Pirates.
The status of two key Hurricanes remains uncertain as hard-hitting strong safety Kyshad Mack and versatile WR/DB Zay Ellis continue to recover from injuries. Their availability for Saturday's matchup is still in question, but the entire Hurricanes organization is hoping for a speedy recovery and a return to the field soon.
No matter who suits up, the Hurricanes are focused, motivated, and ready to compete for their first victory of the TPFL season.
